*** IMPORTANT ***
Please read this entire post BEFORE using this thread!
Are you getting a free magazine that you don't really want or it was not what you expected? Post your magazine on this thread for others who might be interested in it.
Here are some rules:
1) When the magazine has been spoken for, please update your
original post to signify that. Such as:
Ladies Home Journal
Islands
The Week
... Gone
2) Everyone please try to keep posts to this thread to magazines you want to donate/trade.
Not, I'll take Islands and The Week. These messages will be deleted!
3) To request the magazine being offered, Send a PM (Private Message) to the poster buy clicking on the posters User Name and selecting "Send a private message to ...". This allows the poster to see by date/time stamp who requested it first and keeps this thread to a minimum. Plus it also keeps this transaction among the poster and requester private.
4) Any personal information posted to this thread (Names, Address, etc.) will be deleted. All communication MUST be done via private messages.
5) For posters, you may want to check out the thread
Checking your subscription online. Most magazines can be switched with the new name/address online.
6) You must have a magazine to give or trade to participate in this thread. You can not troll for a freebie.
--Enjoy
For trade:
Child Magazine until Nov 07 (just got the Dec issue, so I guess there's probably like 10 issues left)
Bridal Guide until S/O 2008 (Summer/October? not sure what that stands for).
I want girly magazines, fitness magazines, music magazines, um, pretty much ANYTHING. I don't have children and I don't plan on being married any time soon, haha.
PM me.

Have print Playboy magazine subscription for 1 year want to swap for equal 1 year digital Zinio Playboy subscription.
From Zinio's FAQ - http://imgs.zinio.com/faq/ipad.htm#print
Q: How can I switch my print subscription over to Zinio?
A: The publishers that partner with Zinio consider digital subscriptions as separate from print subscriptions. If your preference is for the digital version, you can contact the publisher to have them switch your subscription to digital, if they have that capability. If not, simply cancel your print subscription and purchase a new subscription through Zinio.com.
When you contact the publisher, don't mention "digital" until they locate your account. Ask to simply "verify my subscription". They'll ask for your zip code and last name. Once they've found your account they can give you details. If they can switch your account to digital, be sure to provide the SAME email address that you've used to create your Zinio account with. Future issues will be delivered digitally. Please remember that it can take up to 4 weeks for the switch to occur. If you miss any issues during that time, please contact Zinio at [email protected] to request that they be added to your account.
BTW, here's the thread with 1-800 numbers for publishers - https://slickdeals.net/f/3403898-List-of-800-numbers-for-Magazines-Customer-Service?v=1
Also, Automobile has a free Ipad app for subscribers but as you're asking about Zinio, I assume you don't have an ipad.
Thanks!
Also, would be willing to trade a Rolling Stone subscription for Star, People, etc. - really any kind of weekly entertainment magazine.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I'd donate them to a library before a hospital; do you know how much filth and germs those waiting rooms host?

In principle, i should be able to get as many mags as i want. But i have an informal rental agreement/no lease agreement. Plus my rent is dirt cheap. So i don't want to risk it over a disagreement about mags.
In the future, i'll sign up the mags to be sent directly to the hospital. Most get stolen any ways. It'll save me on gas and pain on my arthritic joints from having to donate 150 mags/week there.
