Attack Tournament Game Play Qualifier. Participants will have until the end of each Play Period (i.e., on a given Tuesday with the exception of Play Period #8) to play five (5) games of the Text Attack Tournament Game Play through the Texter Application (each "Game") to earn points that will be used to determine the winners for each Play Period.
BE CAREFUL IN DECIDING WHEN TO SEND A TEXT MESSAGE TO INITIATE GAME PLAY, BECAUSE ONCE GAME PLAY HAS BEEN STARTED, IT CANNOT BE
CANCELLED BY PARTICIPANT.
Limit five (5) game plays per Play Period per person.
Participants in the Game will be provided a short code by Sponsor or its designated representative. Participants will then be given sixty seconds (0:60) to correctly transcribe the phrase that appears on the screen as fast as possible, verbatim – no abbreviations, no typos – on their mobile phone and send it via text message to the short code provided. Once a Participant has correctly transcribed and texted the phrase on screen, the Participant will receive their score and have completed one (1) game play. Each individual
phrase must be sent in a separate text message to the short code. A correctly transcribed phrase will be scored based on the following formula: [500 (which is the number of points available per correctly transcribed phrase)] multiplied by [how much time remains from the allotted sixty second (0:60) period
TO REGISTER FOR THE SMS WILD CARD QUALIFIER: The registration period for the Wild Card Qualifier begins Monday, May 21, 2012 at 12:00:01 AM PST and ends Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM PST ("WC Qualifier Registration Period"). There will be six (6) Potential Wild Card Quarter-Finalists per WC Qualifier Event (and, as there are two (2) WC Qualifier Events per Play Period, there will be twelve (12) Potential Wild Card Quarter-Finalists per Play Period), for a total of eighty-four (84) total Potential Wild Card Quarter-Finalists.
ONLINE SEMI-FINALS QUALIFYING EVENT ("QUARTER-FINALS"): The Play Period for the Quarter-Finals begins 4:00:00 PM PST, Monday, July 9, 2012 and ends 4:15:00 PM PST, Monday, July 9, 2012 ("Quarter-Finals Play Period"). Eligible participants are the ninety-six (96) Verified Text Attack Tournament Game Play Quarter-Finalists and the eighty-four (84) Verified Wild Card Quarter-Finalists (each a "Quarter-Finalist" and collectively, the "Quarter-Finalists").

REGARDLESS OF REASON, SUCH QUARTER-FINALIST WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE QUARTER-FINALS. When the Quarter-Finalists visit the Website, they will first be prompted to follow on-screen directions. HOW THE WINNERS OF THE SEMI-FINALS WILL BE DETERMINED: The first ten (10) Semi-Finalists who correctly transcribe the Semi-Finals Phrase verbatim– no abbreviations, no typos – on his or her mobile phone and send it via text message to the Short Code will be the potential finalists,
FINALIST PRIZE DETAILS/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): The ten (10) Potential Finalists eligibility must be verified by Sponsor and must meet the conditions described in Section 6 below (each a "Verified Finalist" and collectively, "Verified Finalists"). Each Verified Finalist will receive a trip for two (2) to New York City to participate in the Finals on or about August 8, 2012. Each Verified Finalist's Prize Trip
