open to legal residents in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, except residents of the state of Rhode Island, who are at least eighteen (18) years old,
How to Enter:
1. During the Contest Period, Entrant will submit an original essay of no more than 200 words explaining why their dad is the "Sweetest Dad" and complete the entry form through the Sponsor's Facebook page. They may also upload a digital photo of the nominated dad. All required elements of an entry must be submitted at one time.
2. The essay must be suitable for publication on a website accessible to the general public and must be truthful.
3. The nominated dad must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
a. Must be 18 years or older at the time he was nominated (or in the case of legal residents of jurisdictions where the age of majority is greater than 18 years of age, such age of majority under the laws of the jurisdiction in which they reside at the time of nomination).
b. Resident of the 50 US States or the District of Columbia.
c. Willing to sign an Affidavit should the Entrant's entry be selected as a Grand Prize Winner.
d. Agrees to allow posting of his name and photograph.
e. If a nominated dad does not wish to participate as a nominee, he may email [email protected] and request that his name be removed from consideration in the Contest.
4. Accepted digital photo image types include JPEG, GIF and PNG.
a. Maximum file size is 3 MB.
Entrants can only enter one contest
Public Voting:
1. Online entries will be accepted beginning at 8:00 am CT on Wednesday, 5/30/12. Accepted entries will be posted in the gallery starting on 5/30/12 as they are approved. All entries must be received by 5:00 pm CT on 6/10/2012.
2. Beginning on 6/11/12 at 8:00 am CT through 5:00 pm CT on 6/17/12 (Voting Period), Voters can vote for an Entry posted on the Gallery. Limit one (1) vote per person, per entry, per day.
Prize:
1. Two (2) Grand Prize winners (one each from Imperial and one from Dixie) will receive a $500 gift card to Best Buy ("Prize"). Total ARV of all prizes is $500.00.
2. The winner will be notified on or about 6/18/12
