Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. ELIGIBILITY: Rawlings & Football America's "Train with Steven Jackson" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to individuals 13 years of age or older as of date of entry and who are legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Void wherever prohibited by law and/or in any state or local jurisdiction with registration or filing requirements with which the Sweepstakes does not comply. Employees of Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. ("Sponsor"), Football America ("Partner"), Wildfire Interactive ("Agency"), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, production and promotion agencies, and the immediate families and members of the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply.
3. PRIZES. One (1) Grand Prize: a visit to winner's school from Steven Jackson, a NFL Pro Running Back and member of the Rawlings Helmet Advisory Staff, for a football team training session. Winner must be an active member of a middle school or high school football program. Components of training session to be approved at sole discretion of sponsor. Location of training session also to be approved by sponsor. Estimated Retail Value: $2,000.00.
Seven (7) Weekly Prizes: (3) Rawlings Autographed Quantum Football Helmets autographed by Steven Jackson; (4) Rawlings Quantum Football Helmets. Estimated Retail Value: $1,000.
Grand Prize Training Session date will be determined solely by the Sponsor. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Upon confirmation of the Grand Prize trip dates, if Grand Prize Winner cancels trip the prize is forfeited in its entirety with no further compensation to the Grand Prize Winner. No substitutions for prizes except by Sponsor or as may be necessary due to unavailability, delay, or cancellation by the Rawlings Pro Athlete, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Sponsor responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. All taxes required to be paid upon acceptance of a prize (such as federal and state income tax) and any expenses not specifically mentioned as part of a prize (including, transportation to and from departure city, gratuities, meals, and incidental expenses) shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize and Weekly Prize Winners. Sponsor will send Grand Prize Winner a 1099 form. Acceptance of prizes constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use entrant's and Grand Prize and Weekly Prize Winners' names, hometowns and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Except for the prize values, winners will not receive any additional monetary compensation or acknowledgement for participation in the Sweepstakes.
4. DRAWING: The drawing will be conducted by an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the sweepstakes. Each week for the first seven (7) weeks of the Sweepstakes, one (1) Weekly Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received between the start date of the promotion through the following dates, as applicable: July 8, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM, July 15, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; July 22, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; July 29, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; Aug. 5, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; Aug.12, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; Aug. 19, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM; and Aug. 26, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM (each a "Weekly Prize Drawing"). The seven (7) Weekly Prize Drawings will be held on or about consecutive Mondays beginning July 16, 2012. Weekly Prize Winners will be notified immediately and prizes will automatically be shipped to the address entered on the Sweepstakes entry form. In the event a Weekly Prize is returned, that prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about Aug. 27, 2012 from all eligible Sweepstakes entries received. One Weekly Prize per person. Weekly Prize Winners remain eligible for the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by phone and/or mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability which must be signed by the Grand Prize Winner and received by Sponsor or its designated agent within 14 days of the date printed on notification or an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing. If the Grand Prize notification letter or the Grand Prize is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected in a random drawing.
