Michaels "Make Your Joy" Sweepstakes ~ 12/31/12

Sweepstakes begins on July 8, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on December 31, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Open only to legal residents of the forty-nine (49) continental United States (excluding Hawaii) and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Sweepstakes consists of six (6) Monthly Entry Periods as indicated in the chart below:

There are six (6) ways to enter the Sweepstakes:

a) Log-in and Register: During the Promotion Period, visit www.michaels.com/holidayplanner and follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes as well as one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. Limit: One (1) entry per day during the Promotion Period.

b) Create a Holiday To-Do List: During the Promotion Period, visit the Website and follow the links and instructions to create a holiday to-do list. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes as well as one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. Limit: One (1) entry during the Promotion Period.

c) Open and View Individual Projects: From time to time during the Promotion Period individual projects will be added to the Website. Visit the Website and follow the links and instructions to open and view an individual project. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes as well as one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above, each time you view a new project. Limit: Each entrant may earn one (1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period drawing for each project listed on the Website during each Monthly Entry Period.

d) Download the Michaels App: From your mobile device, download the Michaels App from iTunes or Android Play Store. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. To enter without downloading the App, visit http://michaels.promo.eprize.com/joy/alternate and fill out the registration form complete, or login and you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. Limit: Each entrant may earn one (1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing, and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period drawing during the Promotion Period through either method.

e) Check-in to Michaels: Go to any Michaels store and check in using the App. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes as well as one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. To enter without checking-in, visit http://michaels.promo.eprize.com/joy/alternate and fill out the registration form complete, or login and you will automatically receive one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. Limit: Each entrant may earn one (1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing, and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period drawing per day through either method.

f) Complete A Michaels Activity: From time to time during the Promotion Period activities will be added to the Website. Visit the Website and follow the links and instructions to complete an activity. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period, as defined above. Limit: Each entrant may earn one (1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period drawing per activity during each Monthly Entry Period.

For all Entries: Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified.

Tell A Friend Program: After you enter the Sweepstakes, you will be invited to submit the names and email addresses of up to three (3) friends who must be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Each person you refer to the Promotion through email will receive an email notifying him or her about the Sweepstakes. You may only refer persons with whom you have an existing relationship. Each day you refer at least one (1) friend with a valid email address, you will be given one (1) additional entry into the Grand Prize drawing and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Entry Period drawing, as defined above. While you may invite friends to participate in the Promotion through other social networking sites, you will only receive additional entries if you refer friends to the Promotion by email. Limit: One (1) entry per day during the Promotion Period.

Administrator will randomly select the potential Grand Prize winner from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period, on or around January 2, 2013. Administrator will randomly select the potential Monthly First Prize winners on the dates indicated in the chart above. Non-winning entrants from a Monthly Entry Period will not carry over into subsequent Monthly Entry Periods. The potential winners will be notified by mail, email or phone.

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Trip to Baja California, Mexico, valued at $4,200. Trip package includes:
- round trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Baja California, Mexico;
- six (6) nights' accommodations at Rancho Pescadero Hotel (or a comparable hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) (single room, double occupancy);
- ground transportation to and from airport and hotel;
- all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at the hotel (excluding alcohol);
- one (1) gift membership to Massage Envy which includes twelve (12) massages within twelve (12) consecutive months, (details to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) valued at $900 and one (1) year of biweekly housecleaning service from Merry Maids (details to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) valued at $3,500;
- $1,000 Rent the Runway gift card;
- $500 Michaels gift card.

Terms and conditions of gift cards apply. Winner must complete the trip within one (1) year from the drawing date or prize will be forfeited. Winner must travel on the dates determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion or prize will be forfeited. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to select travel dates acceptable to winner. Trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure. Trip subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner. Unless child of winner, travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure or a sibling/friend of winner with the appropriate parental permissions and releases and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, travel companion must be winner’s parent/legal guardian. Travel companion must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Winner and travel companions are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports and any other documents necessary for international travel. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round trip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $10,400.

SIX (6) MONTHLY FIRST PRIZES: One (1) 1-hour massage from Massage Envy valued at $60; one (1) deep cleaning from Merry Maids valued at up to $300; a $100 Rent the Runway gift card; and a $50 Michaels gift card. Terms and conditions of gift cards apply. ARV: $510.

Limit: One (1) prize per person. Total ARV of all prizes: $13,460.
