Anyone knows the price match policy for their furniture. Bought some Hemnes furniture about 1-2 months ago. Will they give a refund difference?

we just bought the hemnes queen bed frame yesterday too. it's an ikea piece that doesn't scream ikea. we got the gray brown one 'cause it looks a bit more unique than black or espresso.

for reference--we typically like pottery barn, cb2, west elm etc. stuff

at $159, it's a killer deal!

They price match for IKEA Family members only, as long as you're within the 90 day return period (pretty much to save you the hassle of return/rebuy). Did it on a couple things last year!

I won't be moving till the last week of august and have been eying this bed for quite some time. Do you think you can purchase it the at the end of the sale (Aug 5) and have it shipped two weeks later or picked up two weeks later?

That's a nice deal. Owned the bed, the 6-drawer dresser, and a bedstand for about 2 years, survived a move. The bed is a little creaky now, definitely not as solidly made as our Crate & Barrel bed in the second room, but it was half the price so a nice deal. Definitely of better quality than particle board, which ends up in pieces sooner or later.

I have this bed frame and it's adjustable. I had it at the highest setting at first with no box spring and then I decided I wanted the box spring as well so I put it at its lowest setting and it's about the same height. Off the top of my head, I'd say it's adjustable about 4-6"

Mine's at the height of the foot board or slightly higher. Still looks just as good because the head board is so high.

Awesome! We have a hemnes bedroom, just haven't picked up the bed frame yet. For those curious about IKEA quality - the Hemnes line is far and above better than the particleboard furniture. We have it in our living room as well, and constantly get compliments on the TV stand and coffee table.

The 8 drawer dresser is 239 to buy and 349 to ship. I guess I won't be getting soon unless we rent a truck and drive to MA.

Honestly Love my bed and 6 drawer dresser. So much space in the dresser and the bed is quite and doesn't creak. Solid wood was nice for the price.

I bought within the last 90 days, they say you are allowed to return items with original receipt.

What are the chances of them having a record of my receipt? Would be nice to get 80$ back...

The Hemnes line is made out of pine, which is a soft wood for furniture, meaning it's more susceptible to scratches and dents than other solid woods. I'm sure it's much nicer than Ikea's particleboard stuff, and it's probably fine if you're just planning to use it for a few years, but if you're looking for a lifetime bedroom set, I'd look elsewhere.

I purchased these tiems on my chase credit card. Customer service said they can mail me a copy of the sales receipt. Do you think that would include the information needed for this refund if I went to the store? She could not really tell me what would be on the sales receipt.

I bought the Hemnes queen bed 2 months ago and did a return/rebuy, or rather, buy and return using old receipt.
I'm an IKEA family member and did not know you can price adjust beyond the regular 14 day policy.

I love the look of the Hemnes bed, I think it's the best looking one from IKEA
