Sweepstakes begins 10:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on July 19, 2012 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on August 12, 2012.

Open to legal U.S. residents who reside in a serviceable area of Time Warner Cable or Insight Communications and those living in the same household in the following states/areas: AL, AZ, CA, CO (only in Gunnison), GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MA, MI, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV, or WI and 18 years of age or older.

Limit one (1) entry per person, per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the maximum number of entries permitted (whether per day or in total) by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities, registrations and logins, automated entry services or any other method will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified.

One (1) Grand Prize is available: The Grand Prize winner will receive a 4-day/3-night trip for two (2) to attend the 2012 MTV Video Music awards on September 6, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA, from September 4, 2012 through September 7th, 2012. Trip includes:
- roundtrip coach air transportation from a major U.S. Gateway airport nearest winner's residence to Los Angeles;
- standard hotel accommodations [one (1) room, double occupancy] for four (4) days and three (3) nights,
- two (2) A tickets to the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards;
- access to Sponsor-specified events at the MTV Video Music Awards and
- one (1) year of the best available Digital TV service and Broadband Internet [plus equipment – HD DVR Box and Cable Modem (as determined by the entrant's state/region).
The total Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is $6,100 depending on the winner's residence.

Two (2) First Prizes are available: Each First Prize winner will receive a tablet device. The ARV of each First Prize is $500.00.

Five (5) Second Prizes are available: Each Second Prize winner will receive MTV Video Music Awards Prize Pack. The ARV of each Second Prize is $100.00.

Entrant need not be a cable subscriber to win, some restrictions may apply. Winner of prize shall not receive cable portion of prize unless (1) he/she resides within the activated service area of Time Warner Cable as determined by Time Warner Cable and qualifies for a "standard installation" as defined by the franchise agreement granted by the city of their residence, and (2) he/she agrees to applicable subscriber agreement of Time Warner Cable. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Tickets will not be refundable or redeemable for cash or credit at any time, nor will they be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets may not be sold to a third party. Grand Prize and any of the above listed components may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, substituted, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. Trip must be taken on dates and at times determined by Sponsor (which are subject to change) in its sole discretion or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner, if time permits. In the event that the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards does not take place as scheduled or cancelled for any reason, that portion of the Grand Prize will not be awarded and no additional substitution or compensation will be provided. Actual value of Grand Prize will depend on point of departure, dates of travel and any airfare fluctuations and any difference in value will not be awarded. Airline carrier and agent to be selected by Sponsor at its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary and air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken by the Grand Prize winner and guest together. Once trip dates have been booked, no extension or substitution of trip dates is permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Once travel has been confirmed, any cancellation or change fees or restructuring of the trip are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. If the Grand Prize winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must accompany Grand Prize winner on trip as the guest. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18) unless accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian (who must be the Grand Prize winner). Please note: access to certain Sponsor-specified events may be limited to attendees 21 years of age or older. In the event that Grand Prize winner or his/her guest is under the age of 21 at time of prize fulfillment, access to such events will not be granted and that portion of the Grand Prize will not be awarded. No substitution for the Sponsor-specific event portion is permitted and Grand Prize winner acknowledges that the remaining portions of the Grand Prize shall constitute the complete Grand Prize. Grand Prize winner and guest are solely responsible for providing all necessary identification documents and will be responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (i.e., valid government-issued photo ID, etc.). Failure to provide such documents may result in trip cancellation upon airport check-in. The Grand Prize winner and/or his/her guest must have/present at least one major credit card in good standing in order to check into hotel. The Grand Prize trip restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the affidavit (described below) and/or winner's travel documents. In the event the Grand Prize winner resides within 150 miles of Los Angeles, CA, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation will be provided. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets/passes/itinerary/identification, etc. Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs, incidentals, and any other expenses associated with Grand Prize acceptance and use not specifically mentioned as being provided, including but not limited to unspecified ground transportation and/or luggage handling between winner's home and airport, and items not included as part of the winning Grand Prize package. The following are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner and his/her guest: travel insurance; room service; laundry service; spa treatments; alcoholic beverages, unspecified meals; local and long distance telephone calls; merchandise and souvenirs; incidental expenses; additional tips and gratuities; and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. All other expenses and incidentals not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are the Grand Prize winner's sole responsibility.
