Macy's is currently running the Fall Backstage sweepstakes where you can win a $10-$500 gift card. You must download a QR reader onto your smart phone and scan the QR on this page

You then watch a 20 second video and enter your cell phone number at the end. If you win, they text you a code that you can use online to order a gift card. If you lose, you watch another video and try again. Within 30 minutes this morning, everyone in my family won between a $10 and $50 gift card with most winning $25.

I have tried twice to order a gc. Both times it looks like the order goes through but then I guess the order gets cancelled. The last one I ordered was about a week ago and I still have $25 left on my text code.

Last promotion I didn't have this problem.

Thanks for the tip; I've been entering a little before noon or in the afternoon/evening. I don't have a smartphone, so I've used my iPod Touch and the iPeek app on my laptop (I assume that works). I do have a mobile phone, so I input that number at the end. I just haven't been able to win!

I just went through a difficult customer service phone call (she couldn't hear a word I said and had to use military alphabet to explain my street name spelling Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)) but they're getting back to me. Found the phone number for the contest (it's the gift card number) and had to press # about a million times to get sent to a costumer service agent (it kept wanting me to enter a gift card number)....that said, she said they're getting back to me.

I believe it had to do with playing at exactly 4am. Because then I entered my sister's cell phone number (same video) about 10 minutes later, and she won $10. Really clever, Macy's. Stick Out Tongue It took awhile for the gc code to be texted to me, however--about 5 - 10 minutes.

This is one I've been wanting to win because I have some Macy's Money to use after they messed up an order of mine. If I can combine both, I'll actually be able to get something nice, like a pair of shoes or a coat. Or Christmas presents for people! Or new headphones (I just broke another pair of earbuds because I was so excited, whoops!).

My advice? If you really want to win, play around 4am EST. I owe this knowledge completely to melan26--thank you, and reps! bounce
