Promotion begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on May 1, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2012 (the "Promotion Period"). Promotion will consist of eight (8) monthly entry periods with one (1) winner per month (each a "Monthly Entry Period"). For the purposes of this Promotion, a Monthly Entry Period is understood to begin on the first day of a month, and end with the last day of each applicable month.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Eligible minors should obtain their parents or legal guardians consent prior to participating.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, visit http://www.effaclar-acne.com/, click on the Promotion tab, and follow the provided instructions to complete the survey provided and submit the online entry form to receive one (1) entry. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the last day of a Monthly Entry Period to be eligible for the applicable Monthly Entry Period.

Referral method of entry: After you complete the survey, you may receive additional entries into the Sweepstakes by referring friends to register and take the survey. To refer friends, click on one or more of the available methods of sharing the survey on the share screen and follow the instructions to tell your friends about the survey. You will receive one (1) additional entry for each friend you refer who registers by 11:59:59 pm on the last day of a Monthly Entry Period. You should only refer people you know personally. Your referral will be sent a message or an email, and must click on the link in the message/email to get re-directed to the Web Site and register in order for you to receive an additional entry. In the event that the same person (email address) is referred more than one time, a referral entry will only be awarded to the first person whose link was used to access the Web Site.

You may only enter via the primary method of entry one (1) time. You may not take the survey with multiple email addresses or use any other device or artifice to take the survey multiple times. Any participant who attempts to take the survey with multiple email addresses or uses any device or artifice to take the survey multiple times will be disqualified and forfeits any and all prizes won, at Sponsor's sole discretion. Entries and referral entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process will be void.

Potential Monthly Entry Period winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries received for each Monthly Entry Period by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Promotion. Potential winners will be notified by phone and/or email.

PRIZES: (8) (One (1) for each Monthly Entry Period): One (1) $500 American Express Gift Card. Gift Cards are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by American Express. No substitution, assignment, cash equivalent or transfer of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of all prizes: $4,000. All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
