Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time on August 1, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2012.
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada who are of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.
Must "Like" the GE Lighting Facebook page, enter through the GE Lorax tab - https://www.facebook.co
Limit of one entry per person/email address during the entire Promotion Period. Any attempt to circumvent this limit by entering using multiple Facebook accounts or email addresses to enter will result in disqualification.
On or about the Friday following each Weekly Entry Period at or about 12:00 p.m. Central Time a random drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries received during the immediately preceding Weekly Entry Period to award the weekly prizes as follows: for each of the first Weekly Entry Period and the final Weekly Entry Period, six (6) First Prize winners will be selected; for each of the other Weekly Entry Periods, eight (8) First Prize winners will be selected. Entries will not be carried over into subsequent Weekly Entry Period drawings but will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. Grand Prize Drawing: November 9, 2012 at or about 12:00 p.m. Central Time a random drawing will be conducted from all eligible entries received throughout the entire Promotion Period to award One (1) Grand Prize.
One (1) Grand Prize: A trip for winner and up to (3) guests to Universal Studios Hollywoodin Los Angeles, California. Trip consists of:
- round-trip, coach-class air transportation for up to four (4) from a major airport near winner's home residence in the U.S. or Canada (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Los Angeles, California,
- three (3) nights accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (two standard double occupancy rooms),
- ground transportation to and from airport and hotel, and
- four (4) Universal Studios VIP Experience tickets for winner and travel companion(s). VIP Experience tickets include a studio tour and admission to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park. In order to be a participant in the studio tour, guests must be at least 12 years of age or older.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: $5,530.00 USD/$5,676.55 CDN. Winner must complete the trip by December 31, 2013 or the prize will be forfeited. Winner and travel companions must travel on the same itinerary. Trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure, through Sponsors designated agent. Travel and accommodations subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round trip.
One Hundred (100) Weekly First Prizes: Dr. Seuss' The Lorax DVD; Approximate Retail Value: $16.99 US/$17.44CDN.
Aggregate Approximate Retail Value of all available prizes: $7,229.00 US/$7,420.57CDN. Limit one (1) First Prize per household; First Prize winners are eligible for the Grand Prize.
