Heads up, the Biggest Night of the Year Contest begins September 17th and continues through November 11th. This one isn't as great as some of the previous contests, but at least there is a very tiny gap between this and the prior contest. Heres the info:

- Contest period will begin September 17, 2012 and end November 11, 2012
- Offers eligible smokers, 21+ who are registered at www.marlboro.com or www.marlboro.com/mobile the opportunity to enter for a chance to win prizes and more
- Eligible smokers 21+ can enter weekly contest for an opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas to experience a side of Las Vegas few have ever seen. The contest will award twenty-one eligible smokers 21+ and their guest 21+ the trip.

As additional info becomes available, it will be posted in the wiki, but it seems pretty clear as to what this contest is about. Good Luck!

I can validate that as my friend who is 28 won a trip and actually ran into a friend from highschool while there. We also know a few others our age that won. But with the restrictions for disqualification such as a felony the younger ones may not had have enought time to get one under their belt lol
I'm even younger than your friends! I can't waaaaait to win a trip to the ranch LMAO

I don't feel comfortable about submitting my picture to Marlboro, and I'm not half-bad to look at...so I'm not sure I'll bother with this week's VIP contest.

Yeah, I feel ya, and I try not to let it bug me...I mean - I know wins happen. I've had a GREAT year, with 3 trip wins (though I sadly had to decline a Vegas one). But for me Marlboro is my "pegasus/unicorn" (a pegacorn?), ...the one that always eludes me. Frown Flying so close...dropping ashtrays and bottle openers to all the elves in the land...but as soon as I reach out and try to grab it...it flies away to the magical Ranch without me...leaving it's smooth, mellow-tasting smoketrail behind it. Leaving me to wonder "Where's my d#$* bottle opener?!?!" Confused

But I'm not all complaints. The Marlboro Pegacorn does drop me off coupons on a regular basis, and once this year it even bestowed upon me some black magic playing cards, though sadly I could not use them since only a wizard has the power to able to read them. OMG

Thanks. <3 I've lurked here for eons, but I'm usually too shy to talk. No idea why today I opened my big mouth. Big Grin

True that. Still, one can read the forums here without an account. So, I guess partially shy, partially lazy. I thought registration was going to be a lot more difficult than it was. Stick Out Tongue The last time I tried to join a forum (not this one) you had to wait for administration to "activate your account" after verifying your email. Form took forever, and after verifying twice nobody hooked me up so I could never post. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Yeah, the trip wins have been awesome! I won one from a local radio sweep (Thanks to Virgin and SSMF) and hubby and I went to the Sunset Strip Music Festival and got put up in the Mondrian hotel, Got to meet and greet with Motley Crue, and VIP tix to the festival, and a Epiphone Blackbird guitar was part of the package. HAD A BLAST!

Second win was an INSTANT WIN EEK! Won a trip for two to Vegas from that Total Rewards Instant and Sweep earlier this year, remember that one? It wasn't a puzzle collect-and-win trip but one of the instant wins so the kicker was it HAD to be taken on a specific date in April. And of course those dates fell on exactly the same time my husband had paid and scheduled to take his NCLEX exam.Frown There was no way we could afford to repay the exam fees, and have to wait another 2 months for him to get his license to work, so we had to forfeit. At least I still have my screenshot to remind me I DID win something, even if we couldn't go! LMAO

Last win was from CocaCola during their "Battleship" promo, won a trip to San Diego (Just came back from that one a few weeks ago), with a tour of the USS Midway, but best of all a private dinner with the other winners at the Officer's Club at Mirimar (where Top Gun was filmed!). It wasn't as posh as some of the previous trips, and we were there right in the middle of a 100+ degree heatwave and Coke had all of us flying American during this delay nonsense....but I wouldn't have traded it for the world - we made friends with a lot of the other winners and the people made that trip so much fun! The $750 spending money on that trip for just two nights was worth it too.

Other than that, I've had a bunch of little prizes here and there. But for some reason I did will with the trips this time around. Stick Out Tongue

I use my android to log on and had a question. When you login to regular marlboro then click blackbook you have to login again? But my question is there a way to get back out of blackbook to original marlboro site? Seems like I have to login for a third freakin time to go to regular site again.

Sometimes I have had trouble getting back-n-forth on the sites, Some ties not. It can be a PITA

Oh man, I thought i was lucky winning little things like a laptop ($250, nothing expensive), 3 phone charging thing, WSOP merchandise, visa gift cards, etc. That first trip sounded amazing because on top of the trip, you got to meet MOTLET CRUE! And the guitar sounds amazing. But 3 trips! Sorry you couldnt take one, but how awesome is it to win. I have never won a trip and I really hope I do sometime soon. I really want one of my parents accounts to win the ranch trip so they can go have fun (nontransferable, so I'd rather it be on their account).

I dunno it does seem a little overboard to submit a picture of yourself dressed to impress. I am young and am thinking they want a certain demographic representing them but who knows. It def. Is an odd request.

A Ranch Trip is my ultimate Holy Grail as a sweeper. That's the one thing I really want to win. I've been sweeping in excess because for over a decade I had to stop sweeping (we lived overseas in Sweden and as a country Sweden is NOT contest friendly!) So I've had to sit on the sidelines and "watch" via these forums. I was DYING when all of you were doing Outwit the West. shake head I'm not really after this Vegas Trip (I'd prefer the Ranch, but I DO WANT A BOTTLE OPENER!), because the trip seems too short. It still seems awesome, though. OH, AND BEFORE I FORGET AGAIN- CONGRATS JESTERFX!!! I do hope you give a trip report when you get back. The details have been pretty vague, but with the ARV on that trip, I'll bet they have something AWESOME planned! I hope you have a great time!

But since we've moved back to the states, my first year back has been good, and meeting Motley Crue was the best. I've been a fan since I was a kid. Nikki was so easy to talk to. Vince was drunk as a skunk and talked to my boobs. Mick looks sick, his illness is really taking a toll but I still love him as a guitar player. Tommy was...well, Tommy.

The funniest thing when we met them was me having to explain to my husband (who I've been married to for 17 years - since I was 18!) that Tommy Lee actually got to see my boobs before he ever did. Embarrassment (Hey, it was a concert...they got bored...stopped playing...and Tommy yelled to the crowd and said he wanted to see some ermmm...(a more crude word for breasts). He pointed to me in the crowd and said "YOU!!! Show em, baby!". I'm usually pretty shy but back then Motley Crue was my WORLD. I didn't hold back - crowd or not! But then again....I was 17, things were perky, and my boobies were BANGIN'!)

Of course, they're still banging these days...just against my knees. Wink

Thanks much Smilie.

And like you, the Ranch trips have been my most "lusted" after of prizes for any sweeps/invites. Though I have to admit my "holy grail" would have to be a car or dream house lol.

I am definitely excited and can't wait to learn more myself. It is unfortunate that it is only one night as that was a lot of the appeal of the ranch trips...3 or so days of just living it up in an amazing atmosphere. I worry that my trip will be over before I even know it as I'm sure those hours will fly by insanely fast and then I'll be left with a $25k 1099 heheh. Not complaining at all if it looks like that...I cant wait!

Wonder if I can still win/get invited to the ranch or if this "grand prize" excludes me for a number of years like some of their other big prizes. If that's the case, it will be just like living in Sweden if I don't have the chance to win a ranch trip lol.

Don't even have a chance to go as a guest as my wife was on Team Marlboro last year and she was told she couldn't win any grand prizes specifically...I think for 5 years, though I may be wrong.

I want the ranch trip too! My friend went four years ago and I'm sure its a lot better now. They sent him a check for a couple grand to cover taxes. Asked for clothing shoe size. They mailed him luggage to use for airport. When he got to the room there were custom boots jeans and cowboy hat for him and the wife. Also on each bed were tons of gifts like the smaller prizes they give away. And there were two cartons of cigs on the bed too! He said all the food and alcohol was free at the bar and restaurant on ranch. Activities included white water rafting, off roading in hummers, ziplines, horseback riding, and all kinds of other stuff. We are city slickers and not really into the outdoor stuff but he said the trip was awesome! I can only imagine how it is four years later! Good luck hope to see ya there! Lol

I just don't understand why they make you login again from a link on their original site. The whole blackbook contest is no good for me but I did get the wide angle camera lens. I'm sure there are some professional photographers that will hit up the portfolio contest so I'm not going to even try. Are you giving it a shot ichi?

I have to admit, I'm so glad a SD'r won one of these. I'd been hoping someone would get to go so we could all find out! I've been morbidly curious as to what this trip will have in it, it seems the details have been hush-hush, so I'm sure something awesome will be cooked up. Take lots of photos and spill the beans when you get back.

As far as the 1099, I'm with you there. That's the one thing that spooks me about this contest aside from the one-night thing. But Marlboro has always been known to be fair with their winners, and I don't think they'd falsely overinflate the ARVs. I bet you're going to get some killer swag. Or at least the toilet paper in the room will be gold-plated. laugh out loud

In fact, for $25k I think I'd DEMAND gold-plated TP, darnnit! (Put that on your travel list!) Wink
