Heads up, the Biggest Night of the Year Contest begins September 17th and continues through November 11th. This one isn't as great as some of the previous contests, but at least there is a very tiny gap between this and the prior contest. Heres the info:

- Contest period will begin September 17, 2012 and end November 11, 2012
- Offers eligible smokers, 21+ who are registered at www.marlboro.com or www.marlboro.com/mobile the opportunity to enter for a chance to win prizes and more
- Eligible smokers 21+ can enter weekly contest for an opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas to experience a side of Las Vegas few have ever seen. The contest will award twenty-one eligible smokers 21+ and their guest 21+ the trip.

As additional info becomes available, it will be posted in the wiki, but it seems pretty clear as to what this contest is about. Good Luck!

well it is 10:47 EST on SATURDAY, and my entry just was posted for Sunday! ACK!

Same happened to me...I tried from between 7:00 CST and 10:00 CST and it wouldn't let me log in a Saturday entry, just a Sunday one. I kept not entering hoping that when I'd come back it would correct itself (earlier in thread people mentioned it does this sometimes, and if you already entered you can't enter for the correct day when the site fixes itself). Which licks, because usually Marlboro's website "turns over" to a new day at 10:00 CST for me. Confused

I have to admit, I'm so glad a SD'r won one of these. I'd been hoping someone would get to go so we could all find out! I've been morbidly curious as to what this trip will have in it, it seems the details have been hush-hush, so I'm sure something awesome will be cooked up. Take lots of photos and spill the beans when you get back.

As far as the 1099, I'm with you there. That's the one thing that spooks me about this contest aside from the one-night thing. But Marlboro has always been known to be fair with their winners, and I don't think they'd falsely overinflate the ARVs. I bet you're going to get some killer swag. Or at least the toilet paper in the room will be gold-plated. laugh out loud

In fact, for $25k I think I'd DEMAND gold-plated TP, darnnit! (Put that on your travel list!) Wink
Yeah, I've been trying to find out if there are any rules of any kind about sharing info that I learn as things go along. There isn't anything in the rules about it but don't want to somehow disqualify myself by some unwritten rule lol. Was even planning to just make a quick blog to post everything as I go through the process and of course all the info/pics of the trip itself. I know that has been one of my favorite parts about reading peoples experiences of the ranch trips, seeing all the photos and reading the stories.

And yeah, gold plated TP sounds like a fair request.

A Ranch Trip is my ultimate Holy Grail as a sweeper. That's the one thing I really want to win. I've been sweeping in excess because for over a decade I had to stop sweeping (we lived overseas in Sweden and as a country Sweden is NOT contest friendly!) So I've had to sit on the sidelines and "watch" via these forums. I was DYING when all of you were doing Outwit the West. shake head I'm not really after this Vegas Trip (I'd prefer the Ranch, but I DO WANT A BOTTLE OPENER!), because the trip seems too short. It still seems awesome, though. OH, AND BEFORE I FORGET AGAIN- CONGRATS JESTERFX!!! I do hope you give a trip report when you get back. The details have been pretty vague, but with the ARV on that trip, I'll bet they have something AWESOME planned! I hope you have a great time!

But since we've moved back to the states, my first year back has been good, and meeting Motley Crue was the best. I've been a fan since I was a kid. Nikki was so easy to talk to. Vince was drunk as a skunk and talked to my boobs. Mick looks sick, his illness is really taking a toll but I still love him as a guitar player. Tommy was...well, Tommy.

The funniest thing when we met them was me having to explain to my husband (who I've been married to for 17 years - since I was 18!) that Tommy Lee actually got to see my boobs before he ever did. Embarrassment (Hey, it was a concert...they got bored...stopped playing...and Tommy yelled to the crowd and said he wanted to see some ermmm...(a more crude word for breasts). He pointed to me in the crowd and said "YOU!!! Show em, baby!". I'm usually pretty shy but back then Motley Crue was my WORLD. I didn't hold back - crowd or not! But then again....I was 17, things were perky, and my boobies were BANGIN'!)

Of course, they're still banging these days...just against my knees. Wink
Haha, welcome to SD, where even the most shy of people share their personal stories! Sounds awesome!

I just don't understand why they make you login again from a link on their original site. The whole blackbook contest is no good for me but I did get the wide angle camera lens. I'm sure there are some professional photographers that will hit up the portfolio contest so I'm not going to even try. Are you giving it a shot ichi?
I have questioned the same things. As for me entering, well my 15 year old Nikon digital does not stack-up well against even most cell phones now days, lol. I do live in a rural area where there is much to be photographed but with Fall fast approaching I have also had no time to scratch let alone enter the contest.

Thanks much Smilie.

And like you, the Ranch trips have been my most "lusted" after of prizes for any sweeps/invites. Though I have to admit my "holy grail" would have to be a car or dream house lol.

I am definitely excited and can't wait to learn more myself. It is unfortunate that it is only one night as that was a lot of the appeal of the ranch trips...3 or so days of just living it up in an amazing atmosphere. I worry that my trip will be over before I even know it as I'm sure those hours will fly by insanely fast and then I'll be left with a $25k 1099 heheh. Not complaining at all if it looks like that...I cant wait!

Wonder if I can still win/get invited to the ranch or if this "grand prize" excludes me for a number of years like some of their other big prizes. If that's the case, it will be just like living in Sweden if I don't have the chance to win a ranch trip lol.

Don't even have a chance to go as a guest as my wife was on Team Marlboro last year and she was told she couldn't win any grand prizes specifically...I think for 5 years, though I may be wrong.

I was fortunate enough to be chosen for Team Marlboro (Pinedale, Wyoming ) and one of my team members just won a ranch trip in the instant game play for the last contest so......maybe there's still hope for your wife. I have been wanting to go to the ranch for two years now so I'm hoping I'll get lucky one of these days (or my husband so I could be his guest).

Oh man, that wouldn't have been as bad if the outfit choice was a little better. EEK!

I'm not worried about it, I wear 'em like a badge. I'm not 17 anymore after all. And living in Europe did wonders for my self esteem. Over there people (men and women) get naked in public at the drop of a hat (and in some situations, like going swimming in a public pool or taking a sauna it is expected and you can't avoid it) - and I lived in the NORTH of Sweden (above the arctic circle) where the weather is nice enough for nudity for only like two weeks, so they're extra willing to get all the naked time they can in. OMG

And it ain't like what you see in the movies, with all the tan little 20 year olds topless on the beach. They all get naked. I admit, my first time having to be naked in public I was in a public dressing room to go to an indoor waterpark. Before you go into the pool, you are expected to strip naked, take a communal shower, put on your swimsuit and THEN get in the pool. I walked in and was instantly taken aback at all the naked women walking around (gee, thanks hubby for not warning me!), and then the fear of "OMG, I'M EXPECTED TO BE NAKED TOO!" came over me. EEK!

But then I took a look around, and did a quick survey of the room. Droopy boobs, check. Cellulite butt? Check. 80 year old woman? Check. Hairy underarms?!?! Check and double check.

...wasn't so hard after that. laugh out loud

I don't know why people are so ashamed of themselves Confused I figure if a doctor can get used to it, so can I. Think the problem is in the US we are a society so driven by the medias ideas if what is ideal. Instead we should love ourselves for who we are.

Just thought everyone would get a laugh out of someone going to the store shirtless lol...but on my way home from my 2nd tour in iraq I stayed in romania and there was a nude beach also. I ran there like a horse on the open range after being in the desert for months but was disappointed with what I saw...all old men and women walking around naked lmao!

I always enter this one when I get up in the morning, but this morning it isn't giving me a new poll to answer...just the chart showing yesterday's results. Is this happening to anyone else today?

Ditto. I've only been entering this for a week, but it seems like they've really been struggling.
