Thread Details
Heads up, the Biggest Night of the Year Contest begins September 17th and continues through November 11th. This one isn't as great as some of the previous contests, but at least there is a very tiny gap between this and the prior contest. Heres the info:
- Contest period will begin September 17, 2012 and end November 11, 2012
- Offers eligible smokers, 21+ who are registered at www.marlboro.co m or www.marlboro.co m/mobile the opportunity to enter for a chance to win prizes and more
- Eligible smokers 21+ can enter weekly contest for an opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas to experience a side of Las Vegas few have ever seen. The contest will award twenty-one eligible smokers 21+ and their guest 21+ the trip.
As additional info becomes available, it will be posted in the wiki, but it seems pretty clear as to what this contest is about. Good Luck!

Same happened to me...I tried from between 7:00 CST and 10:00 CST and it wouldn't let me log in a Saturday entry, just a Sunday one. I kept not entering hoping that when I'd come back it would correct itself (earlier in thread people mentioned it does this sometimes, and if you already entered you can't enter for the correct day when the site fixes itself). Which licks, because usually Marlboro's website "turns over" to a new day at 10:00 CST for me.
As far as the 1099, I'm with you there. That's the one thing that spooks me about this contest aside from the one-night thing. But Marlboro has always been known to be fair with their winners, and I don't think they'd falsely overinflate the ARVs. I bet you're going to get some killer swag. Or at least the toilet paper in the room will be gold-plated.
In fact, for $25k I think I'd DEMAND gold-plated TP, darnnit! (Put that on your travel list!)
And yeah, gold plated TP sounds like a fair request.
But since we've moved back to the states, my first year back has been good, and meeting Motley Crue was the best. I've been a fan since I was a kid. Nikki was so easy to talk to. Vince was drunk as a skunk and talked to my boobs. Mick looks sick, his illness is really taking a toll but I still love him as a guitar player. Tommy was...well, Tommy.
The funniest thing when we met them was me having to explain to my husband (who I've been married to for 17 years - since I was 18!) that Tommy Lee actually got to see my boobs before he ever did.
Of course, they're still banging these days...just against my knees.

And like you, the Ranch trips have been my most "lusted" after of prizes for any sweeps/invites. Though I have to admit my "holy grail" would have to be a car or dream house lol.
I am definitely excited and can't wait to learn more myself. It is unfortunate that it is only one night as that was a lot of the appeal of the ranch trips...3 or so days of just living it up in an amazing atmosphere. I worry that my trip will be over before I even know it as I'm sure those hours will fly by insanely fast and then I'll be left with a $25k 1099 heheh. Not complaining at all if it looks like that...I cant wait!
Wonder if I can still win/get invited to the ranch or if this "grand prize" excludes me for a number of years like some of their other big prizes. If that's the case, it will be just like living in Sweden if I don't have the chance to win a ranch trip lol.
Don't even have a chance to go as a guest as my wife was on Team Marlboro last year and she was told she couldn't win any grand prizes specifically...I think for 5 years, though I may be wrong.
I was fortunate enough to be chosen for Team Marlboro (Pinedale, Wyoming ) and one of my team members just won a ranch trip in the instant game play for the last contest so......maybe there's still hope for your wife. I have been wanting to go to the ranch for two years now so I'm hoping I'll get lucky one of these days (or my husband so I could be his guest).

Don't get so down on yourself as this attachment will show...it could always be worse! Btw..this pic was taken by a friend at the grocery store and she was seriously looking at chicken breasts. True story! Lol
I'm not worried about it, I wear 'em like a badge. I'm not 17 anymore after all. And living in Europe did wonders for my self esteem. Over there people (men and women) get naked in public at the drop of a hat (and in some situations, like going swimming in a public pool or taking a sauna it is expected and you can't avoid it) - and I lived in the NORTH of Sweden (above the arctic circle) where the weather is nice enough for nudity for only like two weeks, so they're extra willing to get all the naked time they can in.
And it ain't like what you see in the movies, with all the tan little 20 year olds topless on the beach. They all get naked. I admit, my first time having to be naked in public I was in a public dressing room to go to an indoor waterpark. Before you go into the pool, you are expected to strip naked, take a communal shower, put on your swimsuit and THEN get in the pool. I walked in and was instantly taken aback at all the naked women walking around (gee, thanks hubby for not warning me!), and then the fear of "OMG, I'M EXPECTED TO BE NAKED TOO!" came over me.
But then I took a look around, and did a quick survey of the room. Droopy boobs, check. Cellulite butt? Check. 80 year old woman? Check. Hairy underarms?!?! Check and double check.
...wasn't so hard after that.
