UPS Football Logistics Challenge Sweepstakes ~ 1/7/13 (Facebook)

“Challenge” or “Sweepstakes” begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on August 31, 2012 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on January 7, 2013.

Sweepstakes is comprised of (19) weeks. Week one begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on Friday, August 31 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Monday, September 3. Week 2 begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, September 4 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 9. In weeks 3 through 18 each week begins on Monday at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends the immediately following Sunday at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Week 19 begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on Monday, December 31st and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Monday, January 7.

Open only to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are age 18 or older as of date of entry and have Internet access and a valid email address prior to initial registration for Challenge.

Basically works like this:

7 quizzes per week, each quiz has 5 multiple choice questions - answers have to be correct to earn points/entries into the current week's prize drawing & the grand prize drawing. # of points/entries earned for each correct answer depends on how quickly you answer.

You can go back & take previous weeks' quizzes, but the points/entries will only go toward the grand prize drawing.

Weekly Super Fan questions - no right or wrong answers, earn 10 points/entries into current week's prize drawing & grand prize drawing just for answering.

UPS Team Performance Index questions - answers have to be correct to earn 10 points/entries into current week's prize drawing & grand prize drawing.

There are 4 one-time extra entries (10 points/entries each) into the weekly prize drawing they were completed & the grand prize drawing. Click links to visit the UPS store locator, visit MyChoice signup, downlad the UPS shipping app, UPS news.

A random drawing will be conducted approximately three (3) business days after each week from among all eligible entries received during that week to select fifteen (15) potential weekly winners. (Non-winning entries will NOT be retained for subsequent weekly prize drawings.) The grand prize drawing will be conducted on or about January 14, 2013 from among all eligible entries received for all weeks of the Sweepstakes to select one (1) potential winner. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, WHILE THE PRIMARY METHOD OF RECEIVING POINTS/ENTRIES IS BY CORRECTLY ANSWERING QUIZ QUESTIONS, THE PARTICIPANT WITH THE MOST POINTS/ENTRIES MAY NOT WIN PRIZE(S). THIS IS NOT A SKILL CONTEST; RATHER, WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED VIA RANDOM DRAWING.

PRIZES:

There will be 285 weekly prize winners and one (1) Grand Prize winner. The prize(s) are:

Grand Prize: (One) 1 $20,000 electronics prize package. This will be awarded in the form of cash or gift certificates to an electronics retailer store of Sponsor’s sole choosing. All gift certificate terms and conditions apply. The approximate retail value of this grand prize is $20,000.

Weekly Prizes: There will be fifteen (15) prizes awarded for each of the nineteen (19) weeks of the Sweepstakes. For each week, Sponsor will choose, in its sole discretion, the fifteen (15) weekly prizes from among the alternatives listed below (The UPS Football Logistics Challenge page will indicate the weekly prize available for each week.) But, weekly prize winner may receive a check for the approximate retail value of the prize, in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Thirty (30) All American Tailgater Package (prize may include barbecue grill, folding chairs and other “Tailgate” items; exact make-up of prize is at Sponsor’s sole discretion.)The approximate retail value of this weekly prize is $189.99.
