http://www.greenlifeoutfitters.co...-flip-lid/

The hydro flip lid, linked above, fits the 18oz, 40oz, and 64oz versions and is only $3.15 after discount.

Also I'm wondering if the lid is strong enough to hold to a backpack with a carabiner?

I decided not to bite. From the reviews it looks like they insulate just great, but the cap is not that sipping friendly and some leaks have been reported.

I hate water bottles where you have to unscrew the whole top to get a drink. Very inconvenient when using it during sports or bike riding or anything like that.

I have this one from Thermos that has a flip top lid you can drink from:

My wife has a similar one that has a straw under the lid.

I do wish these bottles have copper inside as copper is a natural anti-bacterial.

The deal appears to be dead. It stopped working as I kept going back and forth on which size to get.

I'm especially bummed, because I finally decided on getting the 40oz. Wish I would've kept it in my cart under the discounted price.

I won't crap on these - but the performance doesn't sound very different from other stainless steel, double walled air insulated bottles that I've purchased. My kids use them for school, we pack them the night before with ice and water, and they'll routinely come back the afternoon after with ice still in them (even though most of the water is gone).

For reference, one is a Bubba brand water bottle and the other two are Contigo (former from Wal-mart, latter from Costco). No one bottle cost more than $10 a piece (all between 20-32 oz.) and all have been very reliable, all stainless steel (no aluminum), no BPA, dishwasher safe, and have performed well thermally for both hot and cold.

Are those mentioned vacuumed sealed as well?

*Nevermind, I found their product page and it appears they use the same vacuum sealed process.*
