Fall 2012 new TV shows

The one new show that I really like (have only seen two new shows so far) is Major Crimes, they've really broken out of the old show and come up with fresh and very interesting story lines. Emily Owens M.D. looks really good (from the trailer) but doesn't air until Oct. 16.

The only shows that look remotely interesting IMHO, are Revolution (maybe, needs more than one episode to judge), Vegas (Mike Chiklis/Dennis Quaid).

Of the rest...Arrow (doesn't air until Oct.), 666 Park Avenue (maybe, interesting premise), Elementary (UK Sherlock ripoff), Last Resort (?), The Mindy Project.

Very lazy today, it's the first day that has actually felt like fall here. Good sleeping weather.

The only new show I've seen is Revolution, and it was ok. I find myself comparing it to the "Dies the Fire" book series, so it seems pretty unrealistic, but it's TV. I pretty much am watching new seasons of shows I already liked.

I'm down for watching Revolutions, Last Resort, maybe Vegas, Arrow, and maybe Go On.

When will they learn that we love our heroes, the firemen, but it makes for bad TV on the major networks!! Perhaps it will work on FX like Rescue Me but not on NBC/ABC/CBS.

Reba...really? You can't have a character that doesn't have your actual name?

Most newer shows have been horrendous for a while now IMO. There are not many shows that are renewed for a second season (some didn't even finish the first season before being cancelled).

Last resort premieres this week and it looks like it may be good. Revolution seems okay but some of the stuff in the show made no sense (and I'm not one to nitpick at details but this was just so obvious) like how a RV supposedly not working for 15 years can have an interior in almost perfect condition. The other shows might be good but not expecting too much out of them.

Good point. However the PNW seems to do whatever it wants to as far as weather is concerned. Usually we get a few fall like days in early September but that didn't happen this year, it's been a wonderful summer.

Agreed and some of these shows are just really bad ideas. I mean haven't they learned that using an animal as a prop for a show is just bad comedy these days? It never works yet they keep on plugging away at it.

Then again one could look at BBT on paper and go but for some reason the actors make it work. So I'm not too quick to judge.

I got a chance to preview the first episode of Last Resort. There is a lot that will be going on and it sets the stage for a lot of character development/intertwining stories

I would recommend it over Pilot episode of Revolution.... That show (Revolution) definitely needs more than one episode to judge.
