I went to the PUTNAM BUICK GMC in Burlingame and talked to a salesperson about the offer and he brought me to his manager Art. I didn't have to test drive because I told him I don't have money for a car and I just wanted to get the gift card. He did give me his business card because he said they will probably make you email proof of the test drive.

I don't get what's wrong with waiting. You're either going to get it or not. Are people depending on this $50 to make or break something? calculate it in to the mortgage payment already?

Yes, Im depending on the $250 to pay off the remaining balance from buying 13 pairs of shoes and the items I bought from tommy.com deal last month. With this deal and AMEX deals and etc. the $1500+ in clothes and accessories is costing me to use less than $200 of my own money and without paying any interest. I would like to know exactly when I would receive the cards in case I need to transfer monies from savings to payoff credit card before new statement generates and avoid paying interest. Big Grin

Unfortunately, no more codes are being given out at this time and there is a 2-4 week delay in receiving the cards after the 4-6 week timeline that was noted in the email with the code that you received.

I did not contact them about anything! It was sent to me as if I inquired about a code or something which I did not. what do you guys think this means? are they telling me I will get my card but there is a delay or are they telling me I'm not going to get it??

That is strange. Looks like you will be receiving the card. Last time they issued the gift cards with 2-3 weeks delay as well so it's not a surprise.

Did anyone else receive the same e-mail?

GM did not send out an email. The email was a reply to the message that FFI sent to customer service. I recognize the customer service name Damien from the chat on GM's website.
