21+, US, one entry per household. Submit an essay of 300 words or less on what you're doing to help your community. Ends October 26, 2012 @ 11:59pm ET
Grand Prize: (1 winner) Trip to New York City for winner and a guest to coordinate with Connie Britton's schedule and availability to spend an afternoon doing charity work with her, as provided below, including a voucher for round-trip coach airfare for two from the major airport nearest winner's residence; standard hotel accommodations (single room, double occupancy) for 3-days/2-nights; and pro hair and makeup for Winner and a guest. It is anticipated that the Winner will spend an afternoon doing charity work with Connie Britton (currently scheduled for December 3rd, 2012, but the date is subject to the discretion of Sponsor and Connie Britton). The date of the trip and hotel accommodations will be at Sponsor's discretion, accommodations are subject to availability, and blackout dates may apply. Winner must travel on dates specified by Sponsor to coordinate with Connie Britton's schedule or the winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. Arrangements must be made at least thirty days prior to departure, as long as winner has the necessary departure dates at that time. If not, arrangements will be made by Winner within two business days of notification of the date Connie Britton will be available. Once scheduled, the itinerary cannot be altered. If the round-trip coach airfare is in excess of $1,200 for Winner and a guest, the winner will be responsible for the excess fares. If in the judgment of Sponsor air travel is not required due to winner's proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor's sole discretion and no additional compensation will be provided. Winner will be solely responsible for all meals, incidental expenses, tips and gratuities, income and other taxes, ground transportation, and all other costs and expenses not otherwise specified herein. In the event the charity work with Connie Britton must be cancelled, and cannot be rescheduled for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the prize with no further obligation to the winner. All travelers must possess valid travel documents.

Winner Selection: All entries will be judged by a panel of REDBOOK editors based on the following criteria: inspirational qualities (33%); community spirit (33%); and eloquence (34%). In the event of a tie, the person among the tied entrants with the highest score in community spirit will be the winner.
