Free 1-Year SiriusXM Internet Radio Trial

^ Yeah, you're right about that. I just dropped in on this discussion and forgot that we were talking about the internet deployment of SiriusXM. That probably does make a difference.

I did warn everyone that this was a high probability...I mean, would you give thousands of people your product for nuthin'?

I just did an online chat just now & the rep basically said it was an error & it should have been for only 7 days.

I just chatted to rattle the trees a little. Man. They concede nothing. "It WAS a 1 year trial, but it expired 7 days after you signed up". Wow.

at this point.. i'd take a 3 month free subscription, was really starting to dig sirius.. now.. i'll stick to rhapsody

I listened to them on XM for about 5-6 years. I had forgotten how damn funny that show was. that being said, I finally cancelled my subscription with them about a year ago because the of the tremendous LACK of customer service combined with (IMO) a horrible song selection after the merger and ever increasing rates.

oh, to be fair, the people in retentions were some of the nicest I've ever dealt with...really made it difficult to cancel with all the offers they try to throw at you!

Cancelled account and garbage customer service - Sirius has a lost a future customer.

I'd agree. I'd expect a "please click here and enter your CC for more now that your trial period is over" email. But I don't have anything from them.

But oh well - enjoyed it for a couple of days.

This was so upsetting. I was really digging the service. I will stay away from these guys as long as I'm alive, and recommend them to no one.

You signed up using a link that was supposed to be used by some contest winners and was not intended for you.
If you listened for 5 seconds for free you got something for free quit bitching.

So, I guess them taking my info, confirming that I do indeed GET a 1 year free trial subscription and then letting me login, and THEN yanking the rug without even letting us know is OK? Where are you from?

Ever heard of 1 time use codes? This company failed, then failed at a cover-up. This is a PR no-no. Word of mouth is powerful.

Just because they made a mistake it does not entitle you to anything,
You do know that they probably looked in their logs from the website and saw that the link was posted in a public place and shut everyone down that signed up under that link.
They already have a reputation for being a piss poor company I doubt they care if you approve of them and all you have to do is Google them and you will see many complaints about them.

I just bought a new truck a few months ago and the dealership gave them my number and I told them I did not want their service and to stop calling but they just kept calling.
So every time the called I just flew into a cussing fit and used some very foul language and must have finally offended them because the calls stopped.

I never said I was entitled to anything. They said I was entitled to 1 year. They then changed their minds. Dispute that. Go.
