Oh well.
I think spotify, pandora and xm are all three very different services.
Pandora is a music recommendation service. You can't say listen to a whole album from start to finish.
Spotify is music streaming service mostly catering to people who know what they want to listen to. They also do a pandora'esque radio recommendation service.
XM is entertainment radio with sports, news, weather and some canned music streaming. Mirrors terrestrial radio without adverts.. Or so they claim.. have you listened to Howards station?
(Plus I can skip songs I don't like..unlike XM).

Pfft.
If you find a coupon in the gutter that says "Lifetime of free cellphone service from AT&T" and you take it into an AT&T store and they hand you a phone and activate it, would you be this upset if they call you in a week and say, "When we contacted our corporate offices with that coupon we discovered that it was a photocopy of another person's prize" would you feel equally entitled to the free service?
Essentially, the same thing happened. Someone told you that they had found a code. You didn't question it, even though it clearly had something to do with Chevrolet and seemed like an exceptionally good deal. We all took advantage of it. As commonly happens with these deals, the company noticed the discrepancy and took action. For some reason, you feel entitled. If SiriusXM had posted this coupon themselves and then balked, I could understand your anger. However, this coupon was clearly supposed to be a limited offering. There were only supposed to be 375 winners. Another prize in the sweepstakes was free pizza. If someone had won the free pizza and then sent out a jpg of the free pizza code, would you be as mad when Papa John's quit accepting the free pizza coupon?
The argument about the conspiracy theory is ridiculous. This was a prize in a well published Chevrolet sweepstakes. The fact that they didnt use unique URLs was stupid, but stupid doesnt make it their fault.
