Free 1-Year SiriusXM Internet Radio Trial

The one I was using got cancelled, so I can't test it. Not that I listen to Stern anyway.

They blew it.. should have given 1yr subscription and many could have renewed it also.

so called their customer service today and the supervisor told me there is nothing she can do and she is going offer me a 30 day free trail.......O_O||| I told her since there was nothing in the email (the one that told me I wn a free year), the term of use, or a follow up email letting me know that is only 7 day trail. She should give the one free year to me because its false advertisement... Then.... she hanged up... WOW

So i called again. The rep brought in another/same supervisor and I have no idea if she was listening to what I am saying because I asked:" so is this promotion a trick trying to get people's information and sell/send them junk??" She answered: "yes it is." What?! wow... anyway so in the end she keep telling me that there is nothing else she can't do because its expired. She told me I could email(I did but no reply) or call their higher ups( give me the same number displayed on the website). She also told me ( because I was keep referring back to there was no information on the promotion code ending in 7 days so they should still give us a year) that i should just disregard the term of use and winning email. Then later when I try to talk again, she always cut me off saying "you can call or email... you can sign up for free 30 days... blah blah blahb.."

seriously, im not happy with how they did things, but you guys know you didnt win shit,... it was a glitch, im amazed you are actually harassing their customer support with this.

free trial expired. Can't say I'm disappointed....

I really liked the iphone app. I would probably subscribe to it if it weren't $15 a month.

I would probably pay $4-$5 a month for the service though. I wish they would have offered everyone who got the 1 year or 6 month deal cancelled an internet only deal like they offer the satellite customers. I'd pay $25 for 6 months!

You're right. It was worth a shot, but no point in complaining.

The fact that they're still showing a signup page that says "Try it for 30 days free" that will only give you free service for seven days speaks volumes about the way SiruisXM does business. Very shady.

My favorites didn't show up, who knows why. I'll enter 'em again at some point.

I had some trouble and had to sign up for this one twice. Cleared cookies in between, got a new 10 minute email and I'm good to go. But will it be for 7 or 30 days ?

Just an FYI - despite stating it is a 30 day trial on the website, it seems to only work for 7 days. YMMV, but my experience has been 7 days for all free trials regardless whether the site states 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 year.

It may have already been noted, but starting sometime in September most sports are no longer part of the Internet stream unless you have a physical radio account as well. This means little to no NASCAR, NFL or MLB for Internet only accounts even if you pay for the service. I can somewhat understand not offering the games, but even the NFL channel is blocked. This channel is dominantly NFL talk other than the Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games which you can easily get with Tune-In or other on-line services. This just lowers the value of an Internet only account as these type of non-music offerings are what really differentiates Sirius/XM from Spotify, Pandora, Tune-In, etc.
