"Harley-Davidson Sons of Anarchy" Contest
Winners will be chosen by judges based on stated criteria. This is not a game of chance.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be a legal U.S. resident 18 years of age or older physically residing in the 50 United States (includes DC) to enter or win.
HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.h-d.com/SOA between 12:01 a.m. September 10, 2012 and 11:59:59 p.m Central Time ("CT") November 19, 2012 and enter the requested information including contact information. Submit the required materials including an essay of no more than 500 characters written in English describing (a) which SOA actor you would like to ride with, where you would go and what you would do and (b) the motorcycle design you build from the choices available.
ENTRY CRITERIA. Entry essay must be entrant's original creation and may not include copyrighted, trademarked, patented or previously published material. Entry requiring license or usage rights from any third party is not eligible. Entry may not include any trademarked or copyrighted brand names/logos, except those of Sponsor's brands. Entry cannot defame or invade the rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any third party's personal, proprietary or intellectual rights. Entry cannot contain illegal or unlawful material, and must not promote bigotry, racism, harm or discrimination. Entry must be consistent with Sponsor's reputation in the marketplace and must be suitable for audiences of all ages. Entries which, in Sponsor's or judges' sole discretion, contain any type of vulgarity or objectionable content will be disqualified. Entries that do not meet these stated criteria, or entries that (in Sponsor's or judges' sole discretion) may technically meet the stated criteria but do not reflect the intent and the spirit of the promotion, are not eligible.
Entry constitutes entrant's certification that s/he (i) is the owner of the entry, (ii) is able and authorized to submit it, and (iii) has received the consent of anyone pictured.
By submitting entry, entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, agencies, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and promotional and other vendor agencies involved in this promotion from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorney fees) and liabilities (including settlements), resulting from or relating to entrant's submission, or any information supplied or represented to Sponsor by entrant.
SELECTION OF THE WINNERS: Entry closes at 11:59 p.m. CT November 19, 2012. Judges will evaluate all valid entries received at that point. Judges will be a group of Sponsor employees or agents. Entries will be evaluated based on how well they reflect the following themes:
Originality (33%)
Creativity (33%)
Embodiment of the contest theme, "The Ultimate experience with the Cast of Sons of Anarchy" (34%)
Winners will be the entry with the highest score, as determined by the judges. All judges' decisions are final and binding on all Entries. Should the need arise, judges will revisit tied entries and choose as the winner the entry that best reflects all criteria as a whole.
PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:
One Grand Prize[s]: Model Year 2013 Harley-Davidson Street Bob motorcycle with factory customization not to exceed $15,000 MSRP in total retail value. The "Sons of Anarchy Experience" including round trip airfare for two to Los Angeles (if winner resides within one hundred (100) miles of Los Angeles, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute ground transportation for flight), two nights hotel accommodations for two (double occupancy), on set visit with select cast and crew (exact date and location of Sons of Anarchy Experience to be determined by Sponsor). (total Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $17,000). Sponsor is not providing, and will not be responsible for, ground transportation within Los Angeles, meals, expenses or other incidentals not listed above.
1 prize to be awarded in all, total ARV $17,000.00
Grand Prize motorcycle will be subject to Harley-Davidson Motor Company's two-year, unlimited mileage factory warranty as set forth in the relevant Harley-Davidsonยฎ motorcycle manual. Winners are responsible for license, set-up fees, registration and title fees and insurance costs. Winner or a designated representative must show evidence of insurance and a valid license to operate a motorcycle in order to accept delivery, or prize will not be conveyed. Winners are responsible for the cost of any vehicle options beyond the $15,000 value, as may be agreed to between winner and Harley-Davidsonยฎ retail location at which vehicle will be delivered. Motorcycles will be delivered at a Harley-Davidsonยฎ retail location near the winners' residence as selected by Sponsor. Because this bike will be specially assembled, delivery may take up to six months. Winners or their authorized representatives must take delivery within thirty (30) days of notification of availability or prize will be forfeited.
