The Best Buy® Dorm Room Wish List Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Best Buy Stores, L.P., 7601 Penn Ave. South, Richfield, MN 55423 ("Sponsor"), and is administered by Prize Logic, LLC, an independent judging organization, 25200 Telegraph Road, Suite 405, Southfield, MI 48033 ("Administrator" or "PrizeLogic").
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes starts on July 16, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Central Time ("CT") and ends on September 5, 2012 at 11:59:59 P.M. CT ("Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's clock is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is offered only to eligible legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia who are at least 18 years or older (except residents of Mississippi, who must be 21 years of age or older, and except residents of Alabama, Delaware and Nebraska, who must be 19 years of age or older) as of time of entry. Entrants must also be a registered full-time student at either an accredited four-year college, university, or two-year college. Due to NCAA eligibility rules, NCAA student athletes are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes. Employees of Sponsor, Administrator and any of their respective owners, parent companies, affiliates, directors, subsidiaries, franchisees, representatives, advertising, promotion and production agencies, agents, any companies who are promotional participants or prize providers (collectively "Released Parties") and their immediate family members (i.e., spouse, parent, child, sibling, and the "steps" of each) and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. An entrant is limited to a maximum of one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period. Group submissions are not eligible. No more than one (1) Prize will be awarded per household, regardless of number of e-mail addresses used. Any attempted form of participation in this Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void. If it is discovered that an entrant has registered or attempted to register more than once using multiple e-mail addresses, Facebook® accounts, or multiple identities, all of that entrant's entries will be declared null and void and any prize that entrant might have been entitled to will not be awarded. Also, if it is discovered that any entrant attempts to cast additional entries in excess of the stated limitation, that entrant will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes.
RANDOM DRAWING: On or about September 7, 2012, Administrator will select ten (10) potential winners in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Each winner will be deemed a potential winner pending verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In no event will there be more than ten (10) winners.
PRIZE, APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV") AND ODDS OF WINNING:

HOW TO CLAIM PRIZES: The potential winners will be notified via e-mail at the e-mail address provided at time of registration within ten (10) days of the random drawing. The potential winner must reply to Administrator within the time period indicated after notification or Sponsor may select an alternative potential winner. Before being declared a winner, the potential winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release and tax acknowledgment form, within ten (10) days from the date it is postmarked as having been sent by the Sponsor or its representative, or the Prize may (in Sponsor's sole discretion) be forfeited. Each potential winner will be required to furnish proof of student status in the form of a copy of his/her Student ID, Registration/Enrollment/Acceptance Confirmation Letter from the school's admissions office, course schedule for the upcoming semester or any other documents requested by Sponsor to confirm student status. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or declines to accept the Prize, or if Sponsor is unable to contact the potential winner, the Prize will be forfeited, and, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, the forfeited Prize may be awarded to an alternate potential winner. If the Sponsor wishes to select an alternative potential winner, Sponsor will select this alternative potential winner at random from the pool of remaining eligible entrants. The potential winner may be required to furnish proof of identification and other proof of eligibility under these Official Rules. Sponsor will mail the Prize within 6 – 8 weeks from date of winner verification.
The right to receive a Prize is non-assignable, non-transferable and no prize substitution, exchange or cash equivalent will be allowed, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in case of unavailability of prize or force majeure. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are solely the responsibility of each winner. No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfers of a Prize permitted by the winner. All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein shall be solely the winner's responsibility, including, any and all applicable federal, state and local taxes.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Proof of entrant's submission will not be considered proof of receipt. The Released Parties are not responsible for illegible, lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, postage due, or undeliverable e-mail or postal mail; or for any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability, or garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility, availability, or traffic congestion, or any technical, mechanical, printing, or typographical or other error, or unauthorized human intervention, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information.
