Dole® Cheer In the New Year! Sweepstakes ~ 12/2/12 (Facebook)

Sweepstakes commences on October 3, 2012 at 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on December 2, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM ET.

Offered only to legal United States residents in the 50 United States and District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older, established at the time of entry.

Each Entrant who successfully completes his/her entry will automatically be entered for the applicable Weekly Drawings and Grand Prize Drawing. By returning to the Page, an Entrant may enter the Sweepstakes again, provided, however, that an Entrant is limited to entering the Sweepstakes (both the Weekly Drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing) only one (1) time per day throughout the Sweepstakes Period regardless of how many e-mail addresses an Entrant uses.

Each Entrant may only win one (1) Weekly Prize. If an Entrant has already won a Weekly Prize, the Entrant may continue to enter and those entries will be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. An Entrant may win both a Weekly Prize and the Grand Prize.

PRIZES:

Weekly Prize (800): The Weekly Prize is a Dole 2013 Rose Parade® commemorative pin. A maximum of eight hundred (800) Weekly First Prizes (one hundred (100) per Weekly Drawing Period) are available to be won throughout the Sweepstakes Period. ARV of each Weekly First Prize is $1.00. The total ARV of all available Weekly Prizes is $800. Limit one (1) Weekly Prize per person.

Grand Prize (1): One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win a trip for four (4) (the Grand Prize Winner and up to three (3) of his/her guests to the 2013 Rose Parade® in Pasadena, California on Saturday, January 1, 2013. The Grand Prize Winner and Guests will receive a four (4) day/three (3) night trip to Los Angeles, California leaving on December 30, 2012 and returning on January 2, 2013. The Grand Prize Trip will include:
- roundtrip coach-class air transportation for Grand Prize Winner and up to three (3) Guests from the gateway airport closest to Grand Prize Winner's home (selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Los Angeles, California;
- four (4) days/three (3) nights hotel accommodations (two rooms, double occupancy each) at a hotel to be determined in the Sponsor's sole discretion,
- round-trip ground transfers between the airport, hotel, to and from the Rose Parade® route and to and from the Rose Bowl® Stadium,
- four (4) tickets to attend the 2013 Rose Parade® in Pasadena, California on January 1, 2013,
- four (4) tickets to attend the 2013 Rose Bowl Game® in Pasadena, California on January 1, 2013 and
- a $500 per diem for the Grand Prize Winner and Guests for all meals during the Trip, awarded as a $2,000 check made payable to the Grand Prize Winner.

If the Grand Prize Winner lives within two hundred (200) miles from the metropolitan Los Angeles Area, then the Sponsor may elect to provide the Grand Prize Winner and Guests with ground transportation to the hotel in lieu of air transportation and no additional compensation or substitution will be provided for any difference in prize value. The Grand Prize Winner and Guests must be able to travel to Los Angeles, California area on December 30, 2012, return on January 2, 2013, be prepared to stay in Los Angeles, California for five (5) days, and be able to attend the 2013 Rose Parade® and The Rose Bowl Game® . If a Grand Prize Winner is disqualified for any reason, cannot travel on the dates selected by Sponsor, or he/she refuses to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release, then the Sponsor may randomly select a new Grand Prize Winner from the pool of eligible Entrants or may cancel the Grand Trip. All Guests must either (i) be at least eighteen (18) years old or (ii) be the Grand Prize Winner's child or legal ward. Each of the Grand Prize Winner's Guests, or his/her legal guardian, will be required to sign a Liability & Publicity Release. Grand Prize Winner and Guests must travel on same itinerary and all travel arrangements must be made with Sponsor or Sponsor's agent. Travel subject to availability and must be completed on dates specified by Sponsor or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to another randomly selected Grand Prize Winner from the pool of eligible Entrants, if time allows. Some restrictions may apply. No cancellation of reservation or transfer of reservation to another date is permitted after reservation has been made. If the 2013 Rose Parade® or The Rose Bowl Game® is cancelled for any reason, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the Grand Prize Winner other than to provide the travel portion and monetary components of the Grand Prize minus the 2013 Rose Parade® and The Rose Bowl Game® tickets. Grand Prize Winner and Guests are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary travel documents. If the Grand Prize Winner elects to take the Trip with fewer than three (3) Guests no further compensation or substitution will be awarded. The Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize is USD $10,844.00 Actual value depends on date/time/point of departure/destination, and any difference between the stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded. Grand Prize Winner and Guests are solely responsible for any other expenses not listed in these Official Rules.
