begins on October 18, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on December 16, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Promotion Period").
• Contest: The Contest consists of three (3) phases as set forth in the chart below.

Sweepstakes: The Sweepstakes will run during the Contest Voting Phase, from November 26, 2012 to December 16, 2012 and will consist of twenty-one (21) daily entry periods (each a "Daily Entry Period"). Each Daily Entry Period will begin at 12:00 a.m. ET and end at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Then, follow the directions to submit one (1) essay explaining why you deserve to have your New Year's Eve kiss with your loved one on the stage at Times Square for New Year's Eve, and one (1) photo that further enhances your essay (collectively, the "Submission"), and upload your Submission and registration information in order to receive one (1) Contest entry.
Judging Phase: During the Judging Phase, a panel of qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select the three (3) entrants with the highest-scoring Submissions (the potential "Finalists") from among all eligible Submissions based on the following criteria ("Judging Criteria"):
-Romantic Nature of Submission
-Emotional Resonance
-Uniqueness
-Reflection of your relationship through Submission
Limit: Each entrant may enter the Contest one (1) time during the Submission Phase.
You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for the applicable Daily Entry Period for each vote you submit. Entrant must provide all information requested in the entry form in order to participate in the Sweepstakes. Limit: Each entrant may receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry per Daily Entry Period during the Voting Phase.
Prizes:
a) Contest: THREE (3) FINALIST PRIZES: All Finalists will receive one (1) NIVEA gift basket with a selection of NIVEA products. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $150. Specific NIVEA products determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A trip for two (2) to New York City for New Year's Eve. Trip package includes round trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to New York, New York; two (2) nights' accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy); and two (2) VIP tickets for the Hard Rock New Year's Eve party on December 31, 2012 (terms and conditions of tickets apply). ARV: $4,250.
Sweepstakes: TWO HUNDRED TEN (210) SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES (10 per Daily Entry Period): A 1-year supply of NIVEA lip care awarded in the form of coupons. Terms and conditions of coupons apply. ARV: $18. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Daily Entry Period. Limit: One (1) Sweepstakes Prize per person
