It means everyone's taxes are going up. I'm going to be out an extra 3,000 bucks a year probably if they don't correct things retroactively. Either way, we will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks longer than usual to get any sort of tax return this year.

Short version, they agreed that a bunch of automatic tax increases and spending cuts would kick in if they couldn't agree and vote on a different set of tax/spending changes by the end of the year.
I don't envision much actual change taking place.

I don't envision much actual change taking place.
I don't see it changing TOO drastically, but this is a big push down a very slippery slope that we've been on, and it just keeps getting steeper and steeper. It's death by 1,000 cuts, and this is a pretty deep one.

I was inexplicably growling on the treadmill tonight. I think I scared this chick next to me. She might've finished her run a little early. LMAO

Not sure what got into me. Except I've been texting/IM'ing tennis girl a LOT (she's out of town until Wed) and lawyer chick wrote back again. AND now there's a really mysterious one who's out of the whole country but coming back tonight. Whee
