The Chew: Watch and Win Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time ("PT") on October 29, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on November 21, 2012 ("Promotion Period").
Promotion Period consists of four (4) separate and distinct Sweepstakes Periods as set forth in the chart below. Each Sweepstakes Period will begin at the Sweepstakes Period Start Time and end at the Sweepstakes Period End Time specified in the chart below.
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., 18 years of age or older who have Internet access as of October 28, 2012.
TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, each first-run daytime broadcast episode of The Chew (the "Show") will provide Show viewers with a "secret ingredient" ("Daily Code"). In order to receive an "Entry" into the Sweepstakes, entrants must:
(a) visit The Chew's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.co
(b) follow the instructions to complete the entry form which includes first name, last name, email address and phone number;
(c) enter the correct Daily Code corresponding to that day's episode of the Show; and
(d) grant the necessary permission/authorization to the Sweepstakes application on the Sweepstakes Website.
The Chew airs weekdays on the ABC Television Network at 1:00 p.m. in the Eastern, Mountain and Alaskan Time Zones, and at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the Pacific, Central and Hawaiian Time Zones. Show times are subject to change; check your local listings for exact Show time in your time zone.
Limit one (1) Entry per person per day, regardless of the number of email addresses or Facebook IDs or accounts a person may have. Each entrant may receive up to five (5) Entries during each of the four (4) Sweepstakes Periods. Entries must be received by the Sweepstakes Period End Time to be eligible for the applicable Entry Period. All non-winning entries for a given Sweepstakes Period will NOT be carried forward to subsequent Sweepstakes Periods.
Prizes: Four (4) Prizes (one (1) Prize for each Sweepstakes Period) are available. Each Prize consists of one (1) cashier's check in the amount of $7,800 intended to pay for one year of groceries. The amount of $7,800.00 represents a reasonable assumption that an individual would purchase approximately $150.00 in groceries per week. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of each Prize is $7,800.
Total ARV for all Prizes is thirty one thousand two hundred dollars ($31,200). Limit one (1) Prize per person.

Limit one (1) Entry per person/Twitter account per Daily Sweepstakes Period, regardless of the number of email addresses or accounts a person may have. Entrants are encouraged to regularly check their direct messages and/or at replies throughout and immediately following the Promotion Period.
PRIZES: Twenty (24) Prizes (one (1) Prize per Daily Sweepstakes Period) are available. Each Daily Sweepstakes Period Winner will receive the specific Prize that corresponds to that Daily Sweepstakes Period as set forth in the Chart above.
ARV of all Prizes is one thousand six hundred forty eight dollars and four cents ($1,648.04). Limit one (1) prize per person during the Promotion Period.
