Discovery Channel Gold Rush Strike Gold Weekly Sweepstakes ~ 11/9 - 12/2/12

Sweepstakes begins on November 9, 2012 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on December 2, 2012 at 3:00 a.m. ET (the "Promotion Period").

Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least the age of majority in their state of residence at the time of entry and who are subscribers of the Discovery Channel as of October 4, 2012.

Sweepstakes consists of four (4) Entry Periods according to the chart below.

How to Enter: During the Promotion Period, watch the Discovery Channel according to the Show Air Date listed in the chart above. During the show, there will be a code given on air once during the first half of the show, and once during the second half. Once you obtain the code for that episode, visit www.goldrushgiveaway.com and follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form including a valid home address, and enter the code received on the show. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You automatically will receive one (1) entry into the applicable Entry Period.

Limit: You may enter one (1) time per Entry Period during the Promotion Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.

TWO (2) GRAND PRIZE (ONE (1) TRIP FOR ENTRY PERIOD ONE AND ONE TRIP FOR ENTRY PERIOD TWO): A trip for two (2) to Costa Rica. Trip package includes:
- round trip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to San Jose, Costa Rica;
- eight (8) nights' accommodations at a hotel/hotels determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy); and
- day-time activities are as follows: Day one, spent in San Jose, Costa Rica; day two, you will travel to Sarapiqui for a hike through the rainforest; day 3, you will visit the Tirimbina Rainforest Center and explore the rainforest; day four, you will travel and explore La Fortuna; day five, you will have multiple activity options (waterfalls, whitewater rafting, safari float); day six, travel to Monteverde Cloud Forest and choose from activities (forest hike, butterfly garden, zip line); day seven, you will explore the Santa Elena Cloud Forest; day eight you will return to San Jose; day nine, you will depart back home.

Trip specifics will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner must complete trip on one (1) of the following dates, January 5, 2013 to January 13, 2013; March 2, 2013 to March 10, 2013; July 6, 2013 to July 14, 2013; or December 22, 2013 to December 30, 2013, or prize will be forfeited. Trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure. Travel must be round trip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. Unless child of winner, travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure or a sibling/friend of winner with the appropriate parental permissions and releases and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $2,500.

FOUR (4) FIRST PRIZES (TWO (2) FOR ENTRY PERIOD THREE AND TWO (2) FOR ENTRY PERIOD FOUR): A Gold Rush prize Pack. A Gold Rush season 2 DVD, a Gold Rush Alaska DVD, a Gold Rush Magnet set, a Gold Rush Alaskan mining prospecting coin, a Gold Rush t-shirt, a Gold Rush travel mug. ARV: $209.74.
