Open to legal residents of the 50 United States (excluding California) and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older.
You will also be required to submit a story about "your most spirited holiday memory" and a photo illustrating your story. Your story must be 350 characters or less. All photos must be in one of the following formats: .jpg, .png, or .gif, and no more than 3 MB or 1024x768. All persons in the photo must be at least 21 years of age if alcohol is present in the photo. The photo may not show people drinking or depict excessive alcohol consumption or drunkenness. If you do not have a photo of your story, templates will be provided for you to create a photo using photos from your Facebook account that you may then upload with your story. Only mentions/images of Margaritaville® Spirits brand logos or products are allowed in photo(s).
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address per day.
Winner Selection: The 50 entries in the Sweepstakes application gallery that receive the most "likes" will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Two (2) Grand Prize winners will be randomly selected from these top 50 entries on or about January 11, 2013. First Prize winners will be selected in a series of random drawings to be held on or about the following dates from all entries received by the end of the previous day (one prize per drawing): November 23, 2012, November 30, 2012, December 7, 2012, December 14, 2012, December 21, 2012, December 28, 2012, January 4, 2013 and January 11, 2013.
Prizes: Two (2) Grand Prizes: Vacation package for two (2) adults for a seven (7) night stay at the Riu Palace Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Prize package includes 7-night accommodations (double occupancy), round-trip charter air to/from (flight originating from one of Apple gateway cities below), round-trip transfers to/from resort, and resort hotel meals during stay, non-motorized water-sports and the services of an Apple Vacations representative in-resort. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $3,500 per trip (value will vary depending on city of departure and airfare fluctuations; any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value will not be awarded). Winner is responsible for transportation to selected Apple Vacation charter gateway airport (Apple gateway cities: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Hartford, Lansing, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Rockford and St Louis). Gateways are seasonal, limited, and subject to change. All taxes and additional expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the Grand Prize winners. Estimated taxes include: Apple Vacations airport departure/arrival taxes (approximately $310-$368 per person- subject to change). No room upgrades. All travel must be completed on or before December 10, 2013.
