begins at 10:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on November 23, 2012 and ends at 10:00:00
a.m. ET on December 29, 2012
you must be a legal resident of one of the fifty states of the United States, D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) who has reached the age of majority in your province
GRAND PRIZE
Only one (1) prize (the "Grand Prize") will be awarded. Eligible entrants will have the chance to win the
Grand Prize as described below, to be awarded by the Province to the winner selected by ROOTS in
accordance with Rule 3. Unless indicated below, all elements of the Grand Prize are provided by the
Province.
The Grand Prize will include:
Round trip economy air transportation for the Sweepstakes winner and one (1) guest (the "Prize Group") from the major commercial airport nearest the winner's residence ("Departure Airport") to the Vancouver International Airport
Round trip ground transportation for the Prize Group from the Vancouver International
Airport to Vancouver Island, British Columbia (the "Prize Destination")
A seven (7) day stay at the Prize Destination, including six (6) nights' standard
accommodation for the Prize Group (based on double occupancy)
Two (2) Roots gift cards valued at two-hundred and fifty Canadian dollars ($250 CDN) each
for the Sweepstakes winner and his/her guest (this element of the Grand Prize provided by
ROOTS)
Two (2) Small Banff Bags in Vintage Tribe Leather valued at approximately seven hundred Canadian dollars ($700 CDN) in total for the Sweepstakes winner and his/her guest (this element of the Grand Prize provided by ROOTS)
The actual retail value of the entire Grand Prize will depend upon the location of the Departure Airport
and other trip elements, but will not exceed $10,000 CDN (approx. $10, 040 USD based on an exchange
rate of $1CDN = $1.004USD) (the "Maximum Prize Value"). For U.S. residents, taxes, if any, related
to the Grand Prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner; however, if the winner is a U.S. resident,
the winner will also be awarded a cash amount equal to 25% of the actual retail value of the Grand Prize
(up to a maximum of $2600 USD),
