Too many times i've fumbled with bluetooth and such and left a light on. Bought the 600a version of this for about this price and its saved me at least twice. One of which was on the way to work just prior to an important meeting too where AAA would have been far too slow.
Everyone should have one of these.
I guess it also does not reduce the price it comes in the form of a gift card for a later purchase?
Couple of things to note .... learned the "hard way" .... I tried using it and it failed miserably. Dead car was around my house so I jumped it with another car in my driveway. I grumbled about having to return it .... half day later I noticed that there was a switch on the side that needed to be turned!!! DOH!
The instructions suggest that you don't plug it in and walk away from it ... there's a range of time that they suggest that you charge ... VERY inconvenient. That should have been solved with electronics ... IMO ... something that measured reduced charging rate or something....
It's winter ... there are warnings about letting this thing freeze. Not as big a deal here in VA, and won't keep me from storing it in a trunk of a car.
For me, the USB port is not working. Won't charge my phones ...
Lastly, for giggles I turned the built in lights on and left it ... days later they were still going strong!
I may look for a better solution that removes my pet peeves ... but for the price I am not complaining. I've jumped a car (new driver just started) and my lawnmower numerous times.
