This might be helpful for others who need an oil filter or additional parts:

I used Bank Of America Add it Up for 5% cash back (very simple, deposits right into my BOA account)
Added this as a filler Cable ties that were in stock at my store and more useful than 4 cotter pins [advanceautoparts.com]
Added a $4 oil filter I needed
Used RAF7JA1102 for $35 off $85 - Basically gets you a $5 item for free compared to OP's coupon

Followed OP's instructions from here on out.

On the rebate form online is everyone putting register 1 down? I can't find it on the receipt anywhere and thought from an old advance rebate i did a while ago we were supposed to put register one. can anyone confirm that?

looks like we cant start rebate process until we have a physical receipt as the form asks for a "reigister number" located on receipt. i guess we could just make one up like the example they give? i dont want to risk it though....

buy it or not...buy it or not...do I realy need it or not...do I really need or not...is it an other $30 that will never be used as I never needed a Jump Start in my last 15 years....Confused
you could always have it around for that possible power outage that lasts a few days. Just use the USB for charging your cell phone. Best part is that you would not miss any calls since the phone would be nearby and not charging in the vehicle. That should help justify the cost at least.

I've been looking at one of these for a while... though I've gotten rid of my odler cars that had more issues and replaced my batteries somewhat recently in my 07 and 08 cars. Do these things die after sitting unused for a year or more?
All batteries will lose their charge over time, which is what this is as well, a battery. Just get in the habit of adding things to a checklist on daylight saving days.

Does anyone know if this would work with this device?

I bought the 600amp one for 20$ after rebate and coupon in November.
I submitted rebate online. On Final Page it doesn't say to mail the rebate forms/upc.
So AAA rebates are Online Submission only like staples easy rebate?

not bad for a jump starter. But from reading doesnt seem to do any trickle charge or charging. I remember buying a trickle charger and charger for around this price on SD. More capabilities. The changes of using this multiple times is not many. Just saying unless you tow cars for a living. Smilie

Good to have if you are using 7+ year old cars saves you from asking for a jump or waiting for Roadside.

No stores nearby though...

Good luck!

After an absolute nightmare submitting the rebate Computerpunch (rejected multiple times) - I still have not received mine. After 8 months I have given up. Head Bang

I deal with rebates often enough .... it's just not worth the $20 anymore Sadwalk

Not sure why you are having such a hard time with rebates, I have submitted 5-6 over the last 12 months and have had zero problems, received everyone w/o any hassle. In my experiences there on-line rebate system seems pretty easy to use. I have had some rebates where you also need to submit items such as (upc code, signed rebate form) possibly that could be the problem...Confused

P.S. Submitted the Peak Charger one today, worked flawlessly

Back up to $84.99 original price. The $4.71 difference didn't stop me from jumping on this deal. Code worked. Now I can chance leaving my 3.5 year old battery in for the winter!

edit- using code RAF7JA1102 $35 off $85 puts you back at the OP price (with the filler). I'm correcting my order.

Ordered one last night. For a filler, I bought windshield washer fluid for $2.50, so at least I am getting something I will use.
