If you like it, I love it! I know Icy doesn't have an "e", but apparently there is another Icy Niki with the same CC as me! |

i got this dress in the white, gold, black version. it came with a belt. but i think i like it better without. i love it, it has a more mature vibe than other express dresses.
http://www.express.com/color-bloc.../index.pro i found mine: http://www.express.com/color-bloc.../index.pro i have the top version too, but i can't find it in the site. love it too, but i'm not happy that they're the same fabric and color scheme. i'm keeping both i think. this is grandma-ish: http://www.express.com/embroidere.../index.pro this is too too big: http://www.express.com/printed-la.../index.pro Last edited by kurips; 12-31-2012 at 06:54 PM.. |

Ahem....I just opened an Express CC! Happy New Year to you all! New Year, New Thread ![]() About cold jackets - I did a hike in Bryce Canyon, UT in 4 degree weather in a North Face systems jacket (1 layer is water repellant and wind blocking, zip-in layer is fleece/insulating) and ice cleats and it was awesomely warm. I think if you looked in the ski/snowboard women's categories and saw a style you liked that looked warm and reviewed well, you'd be just fine. I shop altrec.com, sierratradingpost, moosejaw and a few others. Also, Land's End has down 20 degree jackets (short and long) on super sale still. I just got mine and it molts, but I like it for the post-coupon price ($35). Red's def right about a jacket that covers the bum ... if your toosh runs cold, get something long enough to cover it! When it gets so busy at the holidays... that's our kinda New Year's - time to slow down.

Good question... North Face is more of an outdoor adventure company - so their jackets will have details like pit vents you can unzip if you're getting too hot (skiing, hiking, etc), clips for your lift ticket/pass or your mittens, and a waist gaiter to keep snow from coming up inside your jacket. Land's End is based out of WI, and I would say they're more your everyday cold climate than summiting a mountain or glacier visit (which I have done). They will lack the details you might want for the slopes, but may be more fashion conscious and definitely more wallet friendly on sale... For Land's End, if you don't like what comes in the mail, you can return it to any Sears (but no exchanges). Land's End [landsend.com] link. I'm sure a lot of people have different opinions on it.
