Tell her to have fun in her new life. You have jams to go to, and HJs to receive Bye

I'm glad you were Glibness Personified
I figure I've probably been around 1000% nicer to her than she deserves, but even the nicest guy in the world will only take so much Dance14
(not saying that's me, but the point is still valid)

That makes it even better !! Roll
Iagree

If anyone on FB would have any idea WTF that was about, I'd definitely post it there.

Evidently.

...and there's like five or six paragraphs of stuff that were there that aren't really fit for a public forum, so they were retracted. But I typed it, so that's probably good enough.

Starting over is tough enough without having to deal with that too. Don't even take her bait or feed into her questions. Brevity.

I love the idea of mounting them on the walls. I like having decor that is useful. Tons of my walls are bookshelves, cuz I love books and I think they look beautiful. It really personalizes your space Cloud9

Coffeehouse plays that song ALL OF THE TIME
You would love a book I have then. It's called A View of Religions, and it was written by Hannah Adams (the first lady to John Adams). It was the first book published by a woman in the US (1797), and it documents the origin and beliefs of every known world religion at the time. What's cooler, books back then weren't printed and then sold: they were sold and then printed with a list of the subscribers (those who bought it) printed in the back. There's a list of hundreds of founding fathers, congressmen and senators, pastors, and signers of the declaration of independence in the back, and there's a signature I can't make out in the front of the book. I use to buy, sell, and trade antique books (much like Johnny Depp in that movie about hell) when I was in my early twenties, and this was a book I just couldn't let go of.

Hrmmm . . . We'll be in the Peachtree Road area, in the north. Won't get into town until about 4 pm, then it will be sort of a rush to check in, get something to eat, then head out to the game. I hadn't really considered a meet-up. I'd have to drop the wife off, somewhere, first. laugh out loud

Meh . . . . let her go shopping at Phipps. And we're talking about Georgia here. Every other road from Augusta to Helen is named Peachtree! laugh out loud

But I guess you're staying near Buckhead if you're north of ATL. That's my old stomping ground.

My wife can't handle shopping at Phipps, honestly. She's such a farking tight-wad, she'll squeeze a penny until Lincoln cries bloody tears. LMAO

Hannah- wife to John Quincy--- Abigail was married to John
Sounds beautiful Cloud9

Now I try to buy readers on kindle and reference/cookbooks on paper. Kindle cookbooks are a pain to me.

Yes I know. I just never differentiate b/t the two because it makes them greater in my head if they are one person. laugh out loud If it weren't for TJ going nuts in his last few years, I'd lump him in there, too, because of his impact on the life of Adams.

Phipps Plaza is just a big swanky mall with lots of stores for rich people. There's Phipps for the rich people, and Lenox right next to it for the commoners.
