The oldest just found a bunch of bobwhite quail on the edge of the property. I hear they are pretty tasty.

Today I begin KT (knowledge transfer / training) sessions with the replacement folks. They're in Los Angeles and I'm in Charlotte, so I have the pleasure of working over the net, and through my lunch hour, to accommodate them. The good news is, they took a preliminary / evaluation / 20-questions test last week, and only averaged about 67%. This doesn't bode too well for them rapidly taking over (which is how they sold themselves) and means I'll probably get a one- or two-month (or more) extension on my assignment.

I'm not feeling 100% today so I told him to leave them alone. I don't feel like cleaning any more animals after doing the head this morning first thing. I got about 3 lbs of meat off of the head, and it's simmering in some homemade bbq sauce.

I've never done struts, that falls into the "PITA, pay a mechanic" category. I might consider the Quick Struts for the Chrysler, though, if I have jack stands and all by that time. I had originally been looking at a floor jack, but now I'm considering a HiLift instead, since it seems any floor jack with over 13" of lift starts at $100. The HiLift seems pretty useful overall.
