if you have snow and park-and-go several times a day, yeah, synthetic, of the best kind for you.
Another tip for oil selection is: Buy the brand of the gas station you preffer.
I only fill up at Bp brands (responsible for spill yada yada i know. all oil cias do bad things, i think they should be fined, but so far, they have the best prices by far around here)
so i only use castrol gtx on my cars. So i'm sure the aditives in my gas and the aditives in my oil are extensively tested and developed togheter, so i'm getting the best of the chemists works at that company.
If you have a Monro near you, they have had an ongoing special of $19.99 for an oil change and tire rotation. For 3 our of 4 of the vehicles, it's not worth me dragging a jack out.
Regarding batteries, IMO Interstate makes some of the best, along with DEKA (East Penn Mfg.). The Duracell's sold at Sam's Club are re-stickered DEKA's. $119 for a 78DT AGM is a steal.
