I was looking to open a new credit card for BOFA and found this new credit card that just released yesterday. Not sure if this is a repost BTW.
-Earn $25 in cash rewards each calendar quarter when you pay more than the monthly minimum and pay each bill on time – up to $100 in cash rewards each year
-Get an extra $5 bonus per quarter if you have at least one other qualifying account with us for an additional $20 in cash rewards per year – that's up to $120 in total cash rewards per year
-Rewards are automatically credited to your card balance or you can choose to deposit them into your savings or checking account
-No Annual Fee
0% APR for 12 months
Edit:
So for the first quarter, we pay by April 30.
For second quarter, it would be end of July
For third, it would end of October and it is end of January for the last quarter.
So my current interest rate for my BoA card is 8.9%. The T&C of this card is 11.99% minimum. Think it's smart to convert? Or would the extra 3% interest outweigh the benefits....
Sadly I haven't had enough caffeine to do the math...

Your question= 5x5=25 Is 5x mystery number >25?
Without knowing how much money in debt you are, no way to know. But my gut says probably not worth it for you.
Most likely you should be spending more time on focusing on getting out of debt so you aren't carrying a balance and not worrying about making ~30 cents a day on this card.

Well that's the whole thing. I've made past mistakes and I'm paying for them now, literally. I've cut my debt by about $10k over the past couple years. Have about another $8k to go. Just looking for ways to maximize my efforts.
Now that I think about it. I'm guessing the interest on the card definitely outweighs the $25 every three months.
I requested a card transfer from an old MBNA account (now BofA) to this card last week. Just receive an approval call (why since it's just a transfer) this morning. Was told that card will be shipped by July 1st.
I'm going to switch my Cash Rewards card to this as soon as my Reward Points get deposited into my BoA Checking account, since people here have said the switch will remove any reward points leftover.
You originally applied for BankAmericard Privileges® with Cash Rewards and then after the $100 statement credit is posted in your account, then switch to BankAmericard® Better Balance Rewards™?

I called them to see when I would receive it by. They said within 10 business days after approval. So I guess it'll arrive within the next couple of days.
that leaves 2-3 days for shipping it via first class mail in your case.
at the same time your credit score goes up...its a win win situation
How often do they report to the credit bureau of your usage. My capital one card gets reported every month to the bureaus so when I check my credit every month it shows my usage amount then balance which is 0 because I pay it in full every month.

I paid in full on time.
