I have a trip to Florida in a few weeks. I went with the standard SUV for $10 more. Still $250 with taxes for a week, but it's better than the current reservation I have with Alamo. No cc info either so you can easily bag this if something better comes along.
I think Avis gift cards are 80% value with Chase Freedom points (at least they were a few days ago). That should make this deal pretty substantial for those that can take advantage of this offering as well.

Have discounted Avis cards been popping up recently on Chase rewards? I've never paid attention to them, since I rarely rent from Avis.
