Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time ("ET") on May 7, 2013, and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. ET on September 30, 2013.
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico who are 13 years of age or older.
There are two methods of entry:
ONLINE: During each Entry Period, an eligible entrant must visit www.Biotruechal
The first question will be: "What do you do with your contacts at the end of the day?" and the possible answers to the first question that the entrant can select are: (i) "I soak them in a solution overnight" ("Multi-Purpose Solution User"), or (ii) "I wear them once and then throw them away" ("Daily Disposable Contact Lens User"). A daily disposable contact lens user will be entered into the Daily Disposable Contact Lens prize pool. A Multi-Purpose Solution user will be entered into the Multi-Purpose Solution prize pool.
Then an entrant must complete and submit the online registration form, which includes providing, without limitation, his/her complete name (first and last, no initials), street address (P.O. Boxes are not permitted), city, state, zip code, valid e-mail address, date of birth, and selecting how the entrant heard about the Sweepstakes from a dropdown list.
Online entrants must use the respective Biotrue product for at least three (3) days. NOTE: There's a drop down box for the question **HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN USING BIOTRUE? * - choose 3, 4, or 5 days so you can advance to the Share page in order to get the sweepstakes entry. If an entrant does not wish to use the product for three (3) days, he/she must enter via a mail-in entry.
Once the online registration form is completed, the entrant must then share the Sweepstakes in order to obtain any entries into the Sweepstakes. Registration alone is not sufficient to enter this Sweepstakes.
The entrant must share on Twitter® and/or Facebook® using the links provided or by referring up to five (5) friends via e-mail address at one time by following the on-screen instructions. An entrant will receive one (1) entry into the random drawing for the active Entry Period when the entry is received and one (1) entry into the Grand Prize Drawing for each Share Action completed. There is a limit of seven (7) entries into the active Entry Period and the Grand Prize Drawing regardless of the method use to share.
NOTE: Entrants will only be allowed one (1) opportunity during the entire Sweepstakes Period to participate in the Sweepstakes. The first time an entrant answers the Questions and submits the online registration form will be the only time the entrant will be permitted to enter the Sweepstakes. It will also be the only time he/she must complete the Share Activity. This will be the only time an entrant will be able to obtain entries into the active Entry Period and Grand Prize Drawing. To be eligible to obtain all seven (7) available entries an entrant must already have or create an account on Twitter or Facebook.
MAIL-IN: During the Sweepstakes Period, an eligible entrant may legibly write, on a properly stamped 3½" x 5" postal card, his/her complete name (first and last, no initials), complete street address (P.O. Boxes are not permitted), valid e-mail address and answer the question "What do you do with your contacts at the end of the day?" with the response (i) "I soak them in a solution overnight", or (ii) "I wear them once and then throw them away" and mail it, to: Biotrue Challenge Sweepstakes , Entry Request, P.O. Box 251328, West Bloomfield, MI 48325 to receive seven (7) entries into the active Entry Period when the postal card is sent and the Grand Prize Drawing. In order for a mail-in entry to be accepted, it must include all of the information stated above, including the response to the Question, or the entry will be invalid. The answer provided will indicate
which Entry Period prize pool (either the Multi-Purpose Solution prize pool or Daily Disposable Contact Lens prize pool) the entrant will be eligible for. Mail-in requests will be counted for the active Entry Period as of the postmark date. All mail-in requests must be postmarked by September 30, 2013, and received by October 7, 2013. Limit one (1) mail-in request per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period. Mail-in requests sent in an envelope will not be accepted.
Regardless of the method of entry used to enter the Sweepstakes, there is a limit of seven (7) total entries per entrant into an Entry Period and a limit of seven (7) total entries per entrant into the Grand Prize Drawing. An entrant may only participate in one Entry Period. Entries received during one Entry Period will not be carried over to subsequent Entry Periods.
Daily Disposable Contact Lens Entry Period Prizes (21): Each Entry Period Winner who answered "I wear them once and then throw them away" will receive a $100 SpaFinder® Gift Card ("Daily Disposable Contact Lens Entry Period Prize"). The ARV of a Daily Disposable Contact Lens Entry Period Prize is $100. The total ARV of all Daily Disposable Contact Lens Entry Period Prizes is $2,100. The SpaFinder Gift card may be redeemed for goods and services at participating SpaFinder partner locations. The total value of the SpaFinder Gift Card must be redeemed at a single participating partner. Any unused balance will be converted to credit at that participating location. SpaFinder Gift Card must be surrendered at time of redemption
Multi-Purpose Solution Entry Period Prizes (21): Each Entry Period Winner who answered "I soak them in a solution overnight" will receive one (1) year's worth of Biotrue® multi-purpose solution, awarded as 12 10oz. bottles of Biotrue multi-purpose solution ("Multi-Purpose Solution Entry Period Prize"). The ARV of a Multi-Purpose Solution Entry Period Prize is $120. The total ARV of all Multi-Purpose Solution Entry Period Prizes is $2,520.
Grand Prize (1): The Grand Prize Winner will receive a check in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to use towards his/her dream vacation. The check will be made payable to the Grand Prize Winner. The ARV of the Grand Prize is $10,000.
Total ARV of all prizes in the Sweepstakes is $14,620. Limit of two (2) total Entry Period Prizes per household, regardless of prize pool, during the entire Sweepstakes Period. An eligible entrant may win both an Entry Period Prize and the Grand Prize.
