Got awoken around 11 last night smelling smoke in the house. After determining my house wasn't on fire, I heard a ton of sirens, then looked out my back window and saw a glow with rising smoke. From looking on Facebook, a house about 500 yards from mine was on fire. People on FB said it was vacant, so hopefully nobody got hurt. I didn't venture out, but from eyewitness reports, as many as 15 fire engines were called to battle the blaze.
DW and DD slept through the whole thing, which is probably good.

Getting much more difficult to continue working. I'm just exhausted. Started noticing some swelling yesterday and today- hoping its just because I totally overdid it the past few days. 5 more weeks...
