My "Grandma" passed away yesterday. Both my biological grandmothers died when my parents were teens. She was my next door neighbor growing up and truly was like a grandmother to me. I knew that her cancer had gotten to the point that this was expected, but it still is sad. There's no amount of "preparation" that makes losing someone easier. She was 95 and incredibly sharp, witty, and bold until her last days. I loved her very much.
