OFFICIAL Redbox Free Rental Codes for new/existing customers, post other codes here too

It's Redbox's Birthday! Use "BIRTHDAY" for one free movie or video game on 10/10.

I don't seem to have any luck with these posts lately (well except for the ANDROID / IPHONE ones a few weeks back).
When I text BIRTHDAY to them I get the message: "Redbox: We have received your message, but we're not sure what you're trying to do; please reply with a valid keyword. Txt STOP to end. Txt HELP for help."

Unlike the last two that were posted that seemed to be for those not already subscribed to the movie or game texts or were region, this one either isn't active; or isn't active for me/my area (possible yet...). Was hoping this thread or the other threads for those codes would get some more traffic as to whether they were working for others & if they did if you were you already signed up for the texts and what state do people that got them to work live in?

You're supposed to use "BIRTHDAY" as a promo code at the Redbox kiosk on 10/10, not send it as a text.

Ahh! Thank you, I was reading into Hanks post I guess. I haven't been through my emails or been to facebook in a long time, I'm sure it was posted there or on the front of Redboxes. I'll edit my above post and cut that part out.

Have you tried the other few texts though posted on the previous page? What were the results?

I am not going to use mine...
