Good for your son on trying to get done faster - summer courses are great! I definitely understand the need for beach time...I am not happy to be home. UGH. We had amazing weather and the beach wasn't crowded at all which was surprising for the holiday weekend! We had dolphins come in super close to shore, a 3 ft shark come in about 15 feet from shore, and we saw all kinds of little fish and neat stuff. The beaches were beautiful...You can see here how close the dolphins were

I am SO sorry DH even mentioned moving again! I know that has to be aggravating without hurting, so much more so with the pain from the recent move. That is no fun. Hopefully after a few weeks or months, he will change his tune. I always miss where I moved from but sometimes I soften up after I spend more continuous time in an area. Hopefully the idea of moving again creeps out of his mind. Otherwise, I would think you have every right to sit and watch him pack and move it all!

Pain makes everything worse. I threw my back out to where I couldn't walk about a month ago and my husband simply asking me an innocent question sent me off the deep end. I can't imagine how emotional and frustrated you must be. Hang in there and enjoy the beach...that makes everything better!

Thanks everybody! Um we went on an evangelistical / medical trip. So most of my time was spent in the clinic seeing patients. I was the scribe (because you are required to have record of basically everything!) for the nurse so I was constantly busy!! We saw lots of pretty jungle, but never the beach. We saw some amazing pictures at the airport, and I was like HOW have we missed that?! I got to shop at the market, that was great! I also got to sit by Hunter Hayes' camera guy (my absolute favorite music artist). I was listening to HH and looked over and saw the guy beside me was making videos of him. We chatted for a while. : D We also got to ride to Honduras with the national Honduran Futbol team. That was pretty cool. We had a layover in Miami and at one point, the Futbol players ran to get a picture with some guy. I am guessing a rapper, but none of us rednecks knew who he was. :lm ao: It was just so neat to meet new people and experience the culture. Lifelong memories for sure!!

what kind of brightening foundation are you thinking of? i think as we age it is more and more important to brighten our complexion, so no, i definitely do not think you are too old for it. i love luminous foundations and think they're great at giving your skin a subtle glow from within.

i've actually been trying a cc air cushion that's all the rage in korea at the moment (or for the last year). i have to say - i'm impressed. i never thought i'd like something so luminous but it's so easy to apply and seems to look very natural. i've been using the amore pacific one since i had sephora store credit, but there are cheaper ones on the market (especially if you buy one from korea, which you'll need since the US ones may be too dark for fair skinned ladies).

It sounds like you had a good trip. Hanging out with the Futbol team couldn't hurt. I'm glad you ended up getting to go to the market. Tell them next time the beach is a must.

Thanks for the help. I was going to ask for recommendations, since I don't have one in mind. An Ulta catalog had a brightening foundation from Bare Escentuals, which is what peaked my interest. I'm up for trying any recommended brand. Where would I get one from Korea? Unfortunately, we don't have a Korean area here.

Hmm let me look up the be foundation to see what's comparable. The amore pacific i have is really luminous/shimmery. (Korean ones are mostly like that also) It works really well in dry ca but may be too much for fl. I'll get back to you on that.

I'm really loving the cushion compact craze tho. I'm lazy, and it makes it super easy to apply.

I originally wanted white as I thought the eyelet texture was really cute. But the black is actually real suede and the material the heel and platform are made of is nice. I think the black will be more versatile actually. I do have the white coming also.. It came bis in 7.5 so I grabbed it.

Anyway they're really cute! I'm still wondering whether I'd actually wear them since they're so freaking tall. They scream Vegas, and I'm not due for another girls trip for awhile.
