Hello, everyone,
I'm looking to purchase a Sony camera from urlhasbeenblocked that is sold by Sony because it is cheaper on urlhasbeenblocked. I never heard of the website, and it used to be buy.com (which I never shopped at either) apparently, and the reseller ratings for the site are terrible.

So I'm just wondering if anyone here can post experiences about urlhasbeenblocked, and if there is a risk with the site that may be worth more than the savings I get with urlhasbeenblocked,

My paypal is linked to my CC (rather than bank account), would it still be safe?

Buy.com is the actual urlhasbeenblocked company. If you buy from them you'll ensure you're dealing with urlhasbeenblocked.
There are a ton of marketplace sellers on there, and urlhasbeenblocked doesn't seem to have as stringent of guidelines as amazon. So research the seller before you give them your money.
In the meantime, my experience with their customer service has been very positive. Once I returned an artifacting $350 video card, where issue occurred intermittently and randomly, making it rather hard to prove, using their Web site return process. I got a free return label within seconds. After they received the return, I got my refund either on the same day or on the following day.
Yesterday, I called them about an order where I accidentally chose a wrong CPU. They were very helpful and trying to intercept the shipment. Since the order was placed on Sat, and I called them on Mon, I knew it would be pretty difficult to intercept the shipping. Since they could not, they said that I could either refuse delivery or call them after I received it and they would organize return shipping for me (I think I heard they said" free of charge," but I am not so serious). And I would get a full refund on this purchase. I feel their customer service quality could perhaps be close to NewEgg's of a few years back.
FRAUD ALERT
"I have disputed the charge for the computer with my credit card company. The seller refuses to send a replacement computer-probably because they did not have one to sell to begin with. I believe that the seller is sending a box through FedEx knowing they will reimburse for the cost of the item if lost. Therefore, the box may either have 2 labels or is collapsible so that it scans for a time and then simply disappears and cannot be traced. Then when the customer complains that the box has not arrived, the seller reimburses the customer and files a claim with FedEx. What a scam. I have alerted FedEx on the activity to assess if I am right and hopefully they will expose this fraud and file charges for theft.
In the meantime, I will get my refund on my credit card. I have ordered a similar computer online from a reputable company.
Thanks for wasting my time,
M Jones
