This is a freebie site that has everything!!!!! The cool thing about this site is that they show you pictures of the deal (kinda like yelp i guess), and you can search by location (you can save your time and find what you're looking for around your area), by categories or by keywords yummy

Very cool! Hopefully you came back with heavy pockets!

What shows did you see, did you go to the dam?
This trip it was empty pockets.

I did the damn dam tour back in October when I was there.

But I was #12 in a slot tourney at the Rio and that was 350 of the monopoly money to play slots with.

Used the facebook myVegas app to have tickets to O, front row center; Zumanity, 3rd row, and had
$75 to spend at Gallagers at Ny/Ny.

Had free tickets for Divas thru Caesers and $50 to blow on food that was billed to my room so I had a New York strip at Ruth's Chris in Harras.

Actually paid to see Jeff Civillico again, and Matt Goss at Caesers and the new show at the Quad, Recycled Percussion .. very loud, they were on America's Got Tallent along with Jeff's new warm up act, Turf.

Very nice. I only stayed there a night. So, I made it a point to go see a show and I luckily caught KA at a discounted rate in my plotting of the trip. But, I will have to remember to use my sources for discounted stuff if I ever go back.

Then you need to be playing myVegas daily now to build up your Loyalty Points. Since you'ld have the options of redeeming for say a Suite, a Show and more importantly FOOD!

Holy crud, don't mention the food. That was insane there. A $5 footlong there is $10. WTH

FAIL

I would expect that in Hawaii, where the food take great lengths to get there.

I had $75 use at any Ny/Ny restaurant thanks to myVegas, I went to Gallagher's Steakhouse. Had the $50 dry aged Porterhouse wild mushroom salad and mushroom medley ( what can I say, I'm a fun guy). Bill was $72, I left a $15 tip. Licklips

I didn't gnaw the bone but ... I thought about it - it was THAT good!

Food used to be so cheap in Vegas until the big name chefs were wooed by the hotels and started new restaurants. I haven't been in a long time. Has the food just gotten that much better or is it just that prices have just gotten so much higher?

When I was there in '11, I didn't really go out searching for buffets. But, that used to be the cliche that the buffets were in expensive. From what I saw, not the case. But, yes, buffets are different from the gourmet chefs.

Even the food at the casinos that I've gone to in the mid-west, aren't inexpensive.

The casinos here have buffets and they aren't really cheap. The best one runs $25/ person, but there are tons of choices. There are also numerous restaurants at each casino from relatively inexpensive to very pricey.

The last time I was in Vegas, all of the casinos offered big buffets for a little cash. You didn't have to look; they were everywhere.

I only went to Vegas for my first time last October. I gambled enough at the Imperial Palace (now The Quad) I could hit either the breakfast or lunch buffet for 'free' using my Total Rewards comps.

The sushi/asian buffet at Planet Hollywood was like $21 but then I hit it on a Sunday and that was worth it.

I wouldn't normally hit a place Galager's or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse but since one was 'free' and once would have been mostly 'free' this trip I did.

The Dim Sum place at the Rio was good/filling and I picked out 5 plates for ~ $13.
I hit Hash House A Go-Go twice because a LOVE their BBBLT's ~ $14.
And I did hit Kerry's Gourmet Burgers (KBG) at Harrah's and go the lamb burger and a vanilla shake and only had about 1/3 of my fries because I was STUFFED, but wasn't gonna let that shake go to waste.

Wave Hello Everyone

I'm making an effort to get back to slickdeals.

My father passed away 3/6 and was in the hospital for two weeks prior to that. Life has been crazy.

I hope everyone is well. Please keep in touch. Grouphug

Annoyed I found a deal on a kayak, but the roof rack system and kayak carrier will cost more than the kayak. I'm thinking it's something I can do solo and good exercise.
