Unfortunately, it's not improving after a few days of stretching. Frown I'm calling both the doctor's office (for anti-inflammatories and pain meds) and the physical therapist's office after they open at 9 am.

I looked at the hydrocodone prescription bottle this morning, and it's been three years to the month since my last bout of this damned piriformis. When speaking with the PT office, it was the left side last time. This time it's the right side. Unfortunately I don't get to visit my GP until tomorrow, so I'll have to rely on the heating pad, aspirin and a few sips of Scotch whisky to dull the pain. The two biggest problems with this pain are: a) It's not getting better. It's a syndrome where things aggravate each other in a vicious cycle. PT seems to be the only resolution. Thank goodness it was effective three years ago, or else I'd be highly skeptical. b) it's waking me up several times during the night. When you fark with my sleep patterns, you fark with the core of my well-being. Mad VF doesn't like that. At all. shake head

I have other parts that get sore from non-gym activities. And my back is constantly covered in nail marks and scabs. It's a little awkward changing at the gym sometimes, but, hey, I'm not complaining.
