It does seem like others have been lucky lately but I assure you, you are not alone... It must be a build up to a really big win . I, personally, haven't had luck with the single entries only the daily and instant wins.

Congrats to everyone who has won lately, I'm sure my turn will come.

LOL on the Christmas presents! I already told my sisters that they were getting something that I won or got for free for presents this year! Now to decide who gets the Twizzler beach towel, glow-in-the-dark condoms, horn-shaped shot glasses, steel wallet, "Thit" t-shirt, etc. (I am 100% serious!) I enter contests for fun and it gives me something to do while I watch TV. I love it when I win and I get excited when I see other people win!

Time for you to win dream home, take the cash...and get them something amazing. I think what drives all of us is how awesome would it be to win a lot of cash or a car. And some like myself even good tickets to a sporting event. I want an experience beyond my means.

I agree with the other posters about this being a hobby, and dry spells do happen, but a year and only 1 prize? I would say it's time to re-evaluate how, what, and how often you are entering. Without knowing your routine, it's hard to say but you mention entering everything every month. Is that mostly single-entry? If so, I would say that's a good part of the problem, as I find those to have about the lowest odds of all, ironically. They theoretically give everyone the same chance, but the problem is they also get a lot more people entering. I have only been seriously doing sweeps for about 5 months and think I average 4-6 wins/month since I started. That's with 2-3 hours/day of instants/daily/single entry. I find my best odds by far are with the instants; they typically have smaller prizes but any win is better than nothing. Have gotten a couple of nice wins with daily entries, even ones where I only get in the last day or two. Twitter also tends to have pretty good odds as a lot of people don't like to bother with it.

I don't find myself particularly lucky either, as most of my "sweeper" friends who enter daily have pretty regular wins as well. I recommend taking a serious look at what you have been doing and then try to figure out how to switch things up. Try getting some variety into your routine, entering at different times of day, etc. Of course there is no guarantee, but I have a hard time believing you're just that unlucky. I'm pretty sure that if I went even 6 months without a single win, given the time I spend, I would probably quit the hobby. Focus on finding the ones with better odds to keep you motivated.

I'm in a massive dry spell myself but like others have said you should re-evaluate how and what you're entering. I've had -0- luck in the past 3 months on instant wins and it's been over a month since I've gotten a winning email or surprise in the mail.

It happens, there's no guaranteeing that you'll win Christmas or that you won't. Put your name in the hat enough times and it's bound to be drawn someday. You just need to be consistent.

The way I see it is it's something to have fun with and cheaper than going to the casino with about the same odds LOL.
