Funny story, they played a local show well after my win...reunited the guitar with them, they thought it was cool to see it again. Verified that they did indeed do the artwork doodle on it. The artwork is a tree and they thought it would be funny based on my first name.

That is great, and something I really wanted to win...don't get blasted at the superbowl tailgate, saw a lot of people walking around totally loaded. Can't imagine not being sober enough to actually enjoy the superbowl itself.

Tailgate is an amazing thing in and of itself--ton of FREE gourmet food / drinks from exclusive chefs, celebrities all around you walking around, concerts on a stage, massages, and more.

My trip i didn't win a tailgate pass, but found one on the ground walking around the fanfest area...I told my mom, hey grab that off the floor quick. She then very graciously allowed me to abandon her.. I felt so guilty to leave her alone. I ate and drank for the hour before the game. My mom, asked have you been drinking when I returned. I think she thought I had been pounding them back. Though I limited myself to two domestic beers with hardly any liquor content. I didn't even try the frozen tropical drink station I ate Quiche, Steak, Shrimp, Nachos, Potato Skins, Hot Wings, Hoagie, Cheesecake. Oh, and I even had a mt dew too. All the food was so perfect and you just wandered around talking to people and waiting in line at food stations. When you left the Tailgate Area (actually inside the perimeter of security--bowl ticket was already scanned). you saw this area with abandoned beer bottles. Must have been 2000 bottles on the ground near the exit where they made you leave food behind so as not to take it into the superbowl with you.
