Seeing there has been a lot more vaping threads, I figured it would be nice to start a thread here in the lounge where vapers could chat, discuss vaping, deals on vaping, and their setups.I have noticed a lot of vapers in the forums and people who are looking to try out vaping.

So if you are a vaper, looking to quit smoking, or just looking for some info come join us Smilie

Those not interested in vaping or looking to discuss/debate health topics, negatives or anti-vaping opinions are more then welcome to post elsewhere. This is not the place.

Who in all makes their own e juice? We should post up our favorite recipes in here. I'll start. All mine are 70/30 and 3 mg nicotine. Here is one I made that was a big hit at my work, but I believe I'll be changing a few things a little bit on the next batch. Basically I made 2 different sets of juices and one was not very good so I added it to another that I had not tried yet and it was great.

Strawnilla

12% strawberry (ripe)
8% vanilla swirl

This mix was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too "blah". All you could taste was like a really raw type of vanilla and it was not sweet at all. The exhale and aftertaste was very slight strawberry and vanilla but you could smell a sweet vanilla. It was not very good by itself. I made 100 ml.

Then I made...

8% orange cream
8% strawberry (ripe)
2% pineapple

This mix smelled super tangy and tart....tbh I did not even try it alone. I added some of the strawnilla with it and it was good. So I added 50 ml with the 100 ml of this juice and called it "smitty delight". Smilie

Some coworkers went nuts over it and loved it. Next batch though, I want a more "sweet" vanilla...maybe go with creamy. And I think I'll add in more orange cream as well.

I've been making my own juice for a couple of years now.

First, what extracts are you using? By the names it looks like TFA. For your first recipe 12% strawberry looks way too high. Over flavoring can mute flavors.

Your second recipe looks pretty good. Myself, I'd bump the orange cream to 10%, cut the strawberry to 5% and leave the pineapple at 2%. Be careful with pineapple, its a tank cracker. Also, it wreaks havoc on syringes.

All of mine are TPA. I'm a big fan of them. I've found that the ripe strawberry takes a bit more than usual to get the flavor to stay prevalent. The ratio would have been right, had the vanilla swirl not been such a strong flavor. Live and learn. Yes on the pineapple as well...that's why I only went for 2% on it. Just to have a little bit of an edge on it.

Probably they don't allow posts linking to urlhasbeenblocked I'd imagine. No clue why. But thank you for posting that thread man....I appreciate it. I ordered a gray one.
urlhasbeenblocked sells a lot of knockoff ecig items, they are similar to Fasttech. I would be concerned about getting authentic items from them though.
Sorry your thread was removed, but yes they are banned from our forums.

I tried the nicoticket version of this (Strawnilla) and dont like it. Its too blah like you said. I seem to only like custards and creme brulee, I have no clue why but thats what I keep settling on. laugh out loud Oh and banana, banana is always good.

try mixing different vanillas/creams to find one that really fits the bill for you. I've been doing that to give a more complex cream flavor to some mixes

Yup...that's why I mixed them like that. My next batch I'm going to up the orange cream by 2ml and swap out the vanilla swirl for something sweeter. Maybe half it with marshmellow or a cream of some sort. That's actually where I saw the recipe for strawnilla. Oh well. It turned out great in the end but I will be making some changes. I made one a while back that was a big flop, but I am going to give it another go soon...

I called it "strawkilimon"...first batch I tried that was mixed flavors. The CAP peaches and cream v2 is the freaking bomb...I tried that first at 16%. The strawkilimon is ripe strawberry, kiwi and lemon lime. I don't remember the %, but I believe it was 12 for ripe strawberry, 4 kiwi, and 4 lemon lime. It was not very good. The kiwi and lemon lime flavors are STRONG. So next time, I'm going to use some strawberries and cream with the ripe, and then cut the kiwi and lemon lime in half.

Couple of friends from work (they actually got me to up my game and start DIY juice) are big fans of bavarian cream, whipped cream, and marshmellow flavors to add to stuff.

I'm a fan of TFA Sweet Cream. When I made my first strawberries and cream flavor I Started with CAP Strawberry and cream at 15%. After steep and vaping it, it was bland. I added an additional 2% TFA strawberry and was wowed by it. Its still a fan favorite to this day. Also, believe it or not, FW Cake (Yellow) can add a creamy/milky flavor to a mix.

Have you tried the TFA strawberries and cream? I have not tried that or the watermelon just yet. But I have 4 oz of both lol

Yeah, between that and VapeNW having the kit on clearance for $25, I was sold. Only a few colors left, but maybe I'll repaint it (got the silver one).

I have not. I'm guessing its the same as CAP S&C, just more concentrated. I stopped using the premix S&C and worked on my own recipe that people have loved.

TFA watermelon is a good jolly rancher watermelon kinda flavor.
