Unlike dailies (where marking threads is pointless), I recommend you type 'thanks'--that way when your logged in a bulb will appear next to the post indicating you have written something in it. That way you quickly and accurately know which ones you have entered.

For dailies doing the same thing will just confuse (you) and annoy people. I would set up a series of bookmarks in your browser sorted by end date. You can then remove expiring contests and rotate in new ones easily. Or alternatively you could just do them 1 by 1 and go through them page by page (though a bit harder).

I just won a prize from Maxim and it's under $600 dollars, but on the affidavit it has a space for my SSN. I wanted to make sure I could just write, "Under $600." or something similar and I would be ok? I know I have read something similar to this a while back, but I just wanted to make sure before doing it.

Oh on another note this ends my two plus month long drought!

No, every sponsor can have their own requirements. Your best bet is to contact them first and ask if SSN is required. Even though it may be less than $600, they can still require the SSN.

I won a DVD from them and they refused to let me omit my soc #, they also wanted me to send it back overnight mail w. tracking and notarize it. Can you say not worth the risk and money? With my costs of notary and mailing I could have bought the DVD myself. Looks like maxim employees want to pocket the promo items, instead of giving them out. Whole thing left a very bad taste in my mouth toward them.
