Please give us your feedback on this forum. What you would like to see, additional rules, ideas, suggestions, etc.

At this time, we don't have icons (obviously, huh?). We'll cross that bridge when the time comes. IMO, I don't think we need an icon for each individual company. That would get things cluttered fast. But if you have ideas for icons, let us know or post them below.

It'd definitely help. This section is pretty cluttered, and makes it difficult to find everything you need.

The exact opposite of a 73 page or whatever thread. The opposite is organized. Idk, slickdeals makes a good deal of cash these days. Figure it out.

That's what I am trying to do, but your posts are not exactly clear to me. "A 73 page thread". Which thread? Links would clarify things. Are you specifically talking about the survey forum, which is what this thread is regarding? This thread is not about other parts of the site.

This may not be the right thread to ask, but I'm just curious: Is telling people what demographics you need to qualify for a survey still not allowed on this site? Because I see it happening a lot in a particular thread and was wondering if that was something I'm supposed to mod alert. Thanks!

Hi Intrepid Smilie Feel free to PM me with the thread in question, and I will take a look. But as a general rule of thumb, telling people how to qualify for a survey in any fashion is a big "no no" and needs to be removed.

This is just out of curiosity and sorry if posted in the wrong thread:

Why do they ask if I have a child or someone below the age of 18 living in the household? What's the purpose for that knowledge?

Thanks!

Demographics Smilie Companies need to know stuff like household size, ages of people in the house, genders, race, income etc. for several reasons. It could be so that they can group your answers with similar households. Or to determine if you are best suited for a study. For instance, if the client is looking for someone to test diapers, they wouldn't want to send the study to someone who has no babies in the house.

Could forum-specific jargon and abbreviations be added to a sticky? H/U is commonly used here. I see (from context) that it's "heads up" - but what is its significance? I haven't seen it in other forums.

heads up is simply a kindly alert or gesture to keep a look out for

For example lets say we both who members of a particular survey site and they suddenly offered a study for $200.00 well by me giving you a heads up i am making you aware of this and give you the opportunity to check your email . Many people are often too busy and when they do check their email they lost on a opportunity to participate.

*an advance warning of something.

Ah, so it is primarily targeted at people who have already signed up with an organization? That makes sense. Thank you for the explanation.

Here is a link to all of the commonly used abbreviations on the site:
